My denial took almost 3 years but I am back in the running with the Pact Act.

If you have no compensible symptoms but were in a specified location in the specified time frame file and get a zero% compensation. Down the road if you do develop symptoms things will be easier.

In 2011 I had My C&P and VA tried to screw me out of everything and even gave me a low rating on the hearing part. I had to go and see a real head doctor to get my PTSD . I had put in for Agent Orange, and was denied even though my youngest son was born in 1980 with birth defect (Hernia) . Had operation in 1984 to correct it and Doctors tested the tissues and found Agent Orange in them. Now on May 12th of this year, I had an Heart Attack and Hospital did a CT scan and found out I also had an AAA that was so large that it could burst at any time. Sent by ambulance 300 miles south to Grand Rapids, Mi. to have all this done. G.R. put an stent in my heart to open up my blood veins and sent me home with orders of what I could do re-guarding the AAA. so it didn`t burst. until my heart regained it straight. Seen my doctor at our VA clinic and she said that I have( Ischemic Heart Disease.) on June 26, went back to G.R. to have the operation on the AAA done . After 8 hours and 10 stents later came out of the operation and went home 2 days later. Now I am just waiting for G.R. to call as I have to have have the Aortic valve replaced in my heart. Now I have (Corenary Artery Disease) (Agent Orange) I told the Doctor that did the AAA operation that I had that CT scan in 2011 at C&P and VA didn`t find anything. He said they lied because it takes over 20-40 years to get that big.

Great information: does colon cancer fit within the agent orange exposure - asbestos(DC 6833) or radiation exposure (DC 7343)- colorectal cancer
@nwavet37392 жыл бұрын
Colon cancer is not presumptive for agent orange. It is presumptive for ionizing radiation, depending on the exposure and circumstances. Not all radiation exposure will be covered. Talk to your local Veteran Service Officer about a claim.

The VA is very backed up and has been even more so since COVID started. The only advice I can offer is to be patient, they will get it processed.

All honorably discharged veterans should get E-1 base pay for life or their disability rating, whichever is higher. All 100 percent P&T should automatically get SSDI

We should be compensated from the day we left Nam or earlier. Graves disease isn't much fun.
