It's crazy to think that if a person is lonely it can slowly break them.

It does and the pain that loneliness brings is especially hard, you question everything... Am I worth it? Does anyone really care? Is something wrong with me? It can be very hard.

God bless those who helped him🙏🙏🙏 This man deserves everything he can get❤ It's also sad to see war veterans end up on the streets and no one helps them😢 These veterans helped their country, and now it is the country's duty to help them as a thank you🙏❤🙏

As a Navy Veteran that’s been homeless twice, once right after I got out in ‘96 and just earlier this year, it’s hard to ask for help. It took running into an Air Force Veteran on a job, and her convincing me to get help for my homelessness. God bless the Police Department and community for helping my brother in arms. My father served 25 years in the Army, and seeing this story broke my heart.

I am a US Airforce Vet. I live at St.Gabriels adultfamily home in Seattle. In September i am moving back to Montana. Kib and Mimi run St.Gabriels and violate all my rights. I have contacted the ombudsmans office but things just get worse. Kib and Mimi laugh at me and call me a homosexual all the time and pound on the ceiling floor. My PTSD is out of control. I have lived in Seattle for 14 years. I have been here at St.Gabriels for over a year and am sick of the lies and harrassment. I am leaving to Montana September 11th.

I feel bad for Vietnam veterans. They were thrown away because they stepped up to defend freedom.

He said that they did more for him in an hour than what "Hines" gave him in last 15-26 years? Sadly I am attached to Hines VA in IL, and I haven't been there in the last 3 years because it just feels like they don't even care about us Veterans. I called the crisis line, and that's the only place they can put me with it seems. I absolutely hate this position I am in, as it seems I am out of options. I don't know if I should even try anymore.

Ofc they did, that's part of their job. Their concern is not about your health, but about your usefulness. You're slightly cared about while you're in service. After the objectives are completed, you're just another guy, but most of them can never be 'just another guy' after the shxt they experienced. Fighting wars that most of the times have hidden goals and wrong moralities while those who start it sit in comfort, never coming home the same, ending up homeless, with unattended for problems is just systematic nowadays, not a 'ball drop'. Why, let it be in war or shxt as simple as restauration, those who suffer/work the most receive the less?
