Those look so good. I like adding kaffir lime leaf to my marinades, as well.

Just found your video. I would really like to try this because it’s simple. But i’m a bit confused with the ingredients you show on the video compared to what you have listed. Like fish sauce and pork stock powder.

Hi there. The written recipe is more up to date so use that instead. Pork stock powder is just pork bouillon which is hard to come by in the states. You can leave out completely or use chicken or mushroom bouillon powder instead which are more common and you can find them in Vietnamese markets in the states.

@@v2pham, thank you! My daughter was fortunate to find the pork bouillon. I will make this tomorrow. Again, thank you!

Hi! What do you do to not make the pork chop stick to the pan after corn starch? I put a lot of oil still but its still stick to the pan and all the corn starch come off...thanks
@d14273 жыл бұрын
it is not the oil amount that matters- use a non-stick pan, and even with that, place the meat carefully and don't move around. Once it starts changing color on the edge, lift it carefully on sides to allow oil to go under. When browned on one side, flip it over and do the same thing on the other.

Can you use Hoisin Sauce instead of Oyster Sauce? Or will the flavor won't be as good? Nice cooking.
@v2pham5 жыл бұрын
No, it wouldn't be the same. Oyster sauce is salty vs Hoisin which is sweet.
@angelisone5 жыл бұрын
Just thought I would ease on the sodium (salt). So all Vietnamese restaurants use Oyster? You should be proud & speak while your are cooking. Maybe viewers can learn Vietnamese 2.
