Hello there! I'm Amanda, and this was my question! Thank you so much for taking the time to answer. :) I feel so special lol! I watched this immediately after it premiered but am just now getting time to sit at the desktop to properly respond. Thank you for sharing your reasons why MFW is a regular in your homeschool lineup. I think it could be so helpful for other moms to see the fruit that comes from sticking with a plan, whatever that plan may be, MFW or not! I imagine other moms come to KZbin just like I do looking for advice and encouragement from moms who are using this or that product and to find a channel that actively uses a program and has time under their belt getting a feel for how the levels progress is like striking curriculum gold haha! I'm joking a little, but in a way it's very true. In my experience, it's hard to find a channel where the advice being given has stood the test of time. You have clearly trusted MFW with all of your precious kiddos (we're an all girl house too btw!) and that speaks volumes to the quality of their company. :) I don't always see this with other curriculums. But I notice with MFW, I see loyalty from the families who use it and such a sense of satisfaction with their family cycle. If MFW doesn't know about you and the reviews you are providing here, they should! :) It definitely helped me make my decision to return our family to MFW materials. God is using you and this channel to encourage other families; you have no idea what a specific answer to prayer your videos have been for us! It may sound silly but in all honesty I had prayed for many months to have the ability to be obedient to God's will for our homeschool and to quiet the anxious voice inside myself of which program to use for which child and is it enough and should we try the new shiny one and should we switch up for next year blah blah blah on and on and on it went. I, too, researched curriculum like it was my LIFE lol! I kept returning to your channel, watching a little here and there, and was struck by the commitment you show. Each week I would see through your channel a mom who is making it work with lots of children and life's hiccups but that doesn't sway her. I was convicted each time of how chaotic I make my homeschool every time I bounce around and for what? Switching up a spelling program or a history cycle or math workbook is never going to stop problems from popping up again. It's no coincidence that you have multiple children, multiple ages, I would imagine multiple different learning styles, and yet.... you are faithful to one program and trust God with the rest. I believe the Lord used your example to encourage me to RELAX and quit trying to turn my homeschool into something He never intended it to be. We are now using Creation to the Greeks, Learning God's Story, and will hopefully soon begin All Aboard the Animal Train. I have a 4th grader, 1st grader, and 2.5 year old. For anyone else reading this who is on the fence about making homeschooling work and if this company is the right choice, pray first, watch this channel second :), and relax and enjoy your children third! You know this company has something special if families return time and time again. Also, thank you so much for the links you shared. I went for a run yesterday and started listening to part of David's talk and am very excited to hear the rest. I have never heard them speak but have only read Marie's notes in the Voyages of Discovery manual we used a few years ago and really respect their experiences and advice for moms like me. I am so grateful the biblical integration in this company is like it is. What a blessing to us busy moms to know that we have support and that the most important thing, sharing the gospel with our children, is placed very much in the spotlight in these programs. Thank you Homeschool and Grace for being committed to encouraging moms out there, for sharing your experiences with MFW, and praise God for His goodness! :) - Amanda

Thanks for the links to the videos. I am excited to watch these. I just love MFW and I agree with you completely on why! Andrea Mills was such a gem. Unfortunately I only found her channel shortly before her death. She seemed like an amazing mother and person!

Don’t fix it, if it isn’t broken! That’s my philosophy. 😊 Also, less is more. You don’t have to do it all and you don’t have to try everything. 👍🏻

So true! And I totally agree less always seems to be more. 😊

Do you have the link to the video by Mr David Hazel?

I'm sorry I don't see the videos any longer on KZbin.

May I suggest removing the background music? It’s so distracting 😬 I appreciate this video. I’m still so torn between this and SCM. Although MFW seems like it really takes the planning stress away.
