Hi Richard, can you show me how to make windows popups from ms access. For example, you sent timers in ms access, but if you have another application open you don't see the popup form. How do I get the notification on top of any other open application?

What about recording historical transactions - so shows realized gains and unrealized gains - surely a portfolio management database requires that which should be time dynamic- in order to do performance KPI’s like TRR for a specific period

Yes, but not as well as Excel. Once again, Microsoft gives Excel all the cool functionality and Access is the red-headed stepchild.
