@Barstool Prophet Hey, just saw this. Ugh, this is hard. I’m a Gen Xer who had bunch of older cousins influencing my musical tastes, so, let’s see... Eagles, Greatest Hits...Thriller, MJ...Purple Rain, Prince...Rumors, Fleetwood Mac...Jagged Little Pill, Alanis Morisette...oh, and I also love country. Bluegrass and southern gospel....so, Alison Krause + Union Station, Live (2002)... Best of the Gaither Vocal Band...Lynyrd Skynrd, Pronounced “Leh- nerd Skin-Erd”, and also Adele, Live at Royal Albert Hall...I guess that makes ten! If I had to live with those ten for the rest of my life, I’d say I’d do alright. How about you, my friend?!?
@redstateforever3 жыл бұрын
@Barstool ProphetOh, I’m with ya on lots of those. I love Yes, Kansas, Styx, and of course Led Zeppelin. It really is crazy hard to choose just 10. Funny how neither of us picked the Beatles. I like some of their songs, but for whatever reason, I just never got into the whole full on devotion thing. Maybe because they broke up before I was born, idk. If I could add one more it would be Journey, Escape. Don’t stop believing! Lol.

For what it's worth, it occurred in the middle of the album but I saw them in 1977 in junior high after this album dropped and oh my God was it a good show. A small to medium-sized Arena and it just sounded so good and everything about it was incredible. Something that cracks me up is that your friend there, just superficially and from a distance, just somehow reminds me at a glance of Sib Hashian, who was the drummer. Take a look at one of the album photos and squint your eyes a little bit and see what you think. 😅
