Thank you for this. Probably my fav Mexican dish. It was the first Mexican dish I ever had as a kid up in WA. To this day it’s my comfort food. And I have my fav places here in town in So Cal that makes the best rellenos that are my go to spots. One is down the street who also make great seafood tostadas. And another is next door to my vets office. I feel inspired to make my own now.m

❤this is such a winner Steph! Thanks for everything you teach us😊 I didn’t have chorizo today so I used egg and cheese only. The eggs are tricky to cook all the way through but a few minutes at low in the oven before serving helped. I also made a batter only “relleno” for my five year old who is picky and he loved it with some casera and sour cream lol

A humble content request: One video topic I'd very much be interested in hearing your take on would be *clean up*. I love making all of these recipes . . . until the end. After being used to eating rather mild chili rellenos in restaurants, I got one that must have been one of the more ripened ones. It was a whole lot spicier. Ia the tolerance of hot peppers something that you acquire from childhood? The owner of this restaurant visited frequently used to grow habeneros right outside of his building. Frequently, he would take a lunch break while we were there. He would eat a salad along with one of his habeneros. He eat them like it was nothing at all. He offered me one once, but I was too chicken to eat it. As always, the food looked totally scrumptious! May you and your family fare well this year!
