Hello Sir, what tool would you choose if you only can take one : flex master, autotuner or kessv3 master ? Can you do implicit variantcoding with flex magic master toolkit? Like turning off eco mode(start/stop) etc.

Its a little bit fun that you say " obv you dont give out vin so you dont name file that now " , but in ID reading its saying the vin number x) But a question, you must have over 14v to read/write with flex on ecus? or it works under 14v also? Iknow some cars will have higher.

hi @Morteexx, good spot there in the video. You do not need over 14v to read a normal car/van/lcv/bike/utv/atv etc. When reading through obd it is ideal to have between 12.5v and 13.5v. Some vehicles show a little higher, some show a little lower. But remember the engine is not running when tuning through the OBD so the voltage should not be upwards of 14v as it would be when the engine is running.

Hi thank you for your reaction on the bench video, i have a question about the obd is it safe to read/write when car is started ? Instead of just in contact. Because i have some remote jobs where people live far away and want to meet in the middle. And there is no outlet for battery stabilizer there, so when the car is started the voltage is good.

Probably Alientech kess3. Not quite how we would put it, the tool allows you to read and write both stock file and tuned files for many many engines and gearboxes, its a nice bit of kit, and very good value compared to many tuning tools on the market.
