Okay, I'm going to make this as clear as possible, Viggo Mortensen is an American, he merely has Danish background via his Danish-born father, and Norwegian and English-Canadian background via his American-born mother. Viggo Mortensen is solely half Danish American, he is American, just American. Other Danes even criticize how his English is much cleaner than his Danish. My sister is a first generation American born to Brazilian parents, she is not Brazilian, she is American.

Yes, he was born in the US but he also cherish his Danish roots alot. and the other way around.
