About a month ago I posted, somewhere, that the Fever would really start to move when AB started going straight to the rim. Recently she seems to be doing that - both to open up for a pass and to score. She is a Force - very tough to stop. CC will find her teammates if/when they're open. The players are starting to adjust the 'move without the ball and be ready for a pass at any time' style of play. This is the old Larry Bird Celtics method. It still works today. CC is a key cog but AB and Mitchell are powerful forces for the Fever.

They're one of the best. Good players and well coached. They'll cruise to the playoffs and may very well win it. But they're also part of an wnba old guard that may be passing away. Proud of this Team… A Triple Double is a Personal Achievement but takes a Team to make it happen. 1st one for a Rookie in WNBA/Franchise History. ROTY 🗳️✅ I think Lexie’s Dog 🐕 is a Good Luck Charm… She brought her dog to the game. 🤷♂️✌️

Team is coming together. Lexi Hull needs to get more minutes. She is a tenacious defender and is not afraid to take the big shots in the biggest moments. Great team win today! Go Fever!

Lexie was missing too many shots before today, but she finaly banked it off the glass, and it went in! Reverse layup, FTs, assist, being a champion. Gonna be a strong drive to the playoffs! 🙂👍👍

Most I ever heard Boston say at a post game mtg. I wish all players on the W came up...let people know your mindsets. Up 14, down 11.. that's hooping. The Fever have worked as hard as the other W teams. Hoping the league continues to grow and prosper.

No one commenting on Dantas? 7 points in 7 minutes? She seems to have strength, size and consistency. Look forward to seeing her play more.

When Dantas made the 3pt the commentator said that's why Sides wanted her, for more fire power. I thought Sides wanted her for defense, but she doesn't seem very quick.

Did we just get Dantas or why don’t I know about her?
@JB-zh1tu6 ай бұрын
This from Feb 2024: The Indiana Fever announced today the team signed forward Damiris Dantas to a multi-year contract. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. The No. 12 overall pick in the 2012 WNBA Draft last played in 2022 with the Minnesota Lynx. In 2022, Dantas averaged 5.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and played 17.4 minutes per contest in 15 games played. “Dantas gives us a WNBA veteran with experience in the post and her international experience in the Olympics will also benefit our team,” General Manager Lin Dunn said. “She will be a tremendous addition on both ends of the floor as well as in our locker room.” In eight seasons played in the WNBA, Dantas averaged 7.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest in 202 games played with 128 starting appearances. The 6-foot-3 forward was also a member of the Brazilian National Team in the 2016 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Side note: Dantas missed opening week of training camp due to visa and family issues, then had a knee injury. She was activated last month when Celeste Taylor was waived.

I loved when CC was answering the question about her triple double and AB chimed in with a smile and said "She's so humble" and reached over and touched CC shoulder. CC and AB are really building a strong relationship along with the whole team, That "camaraderie" could possibly get them into the Playoff's this year! When the season started off with SO MANY losses it was a real "Debbie Downer" moment. I was thinking there is NO WAY they make the playoff's! But thank God they proved me wrong! GO FEVER!
