@@conciergemarie6981 I live out here in Las Vegas, so I go to the sports books inside the casinos to watch her games. They have the huge screens. It's the next best thing to being there I suppose. Before her arrival into the WNBA, I watched the NBA, and the NFL. After watching her, I have lost all interest in other sports. Seeing all the undeserved vitriol and animosity that she is constantly subjected to, has strengthened my respect and admiration for her. Never in my life have I witnessed such a humble, gracious, noble, kind, thoughtful, and eloquently spoken person. At only 22 years old, she epitomizes everything that you would want in a role model. What parent wouldn't want their child to admire and emulate someone like her ? Have a dream, work hard, remain humble, be gracious, never denigrate your detractors and haters. Praise them instead. Never self aggrandize yourself. Always deflect praise to your teammates, coaches, and the positive role models that influenced you. And always be accountable when things aren't going well. After discovering her, it's increasingly difficult to tolerate the petulant, overpaid, ungrateful, and arrogant modern athletes. Her wisdom, her heart of gold, and genuine wholesomeness distinguishes her from other athletes. She is class personified. Can't wait to see her play tomorrow. Go Fever!
@Mel-dd1ce3 ай бұрын
After watching them beat Dallas yesterday, I'm an even bigger fan now. I live out here in Vegas, so I usually go the the Casinos to watch the Fever play on the big screens. The one thing that I've noticed is that, the majority of the people watching are new Caitlin Clark fans. Almost all of them being new women's basketball fans because of her. I've been offered free tickets to see the Las Vegas Aces. I turned them down. When the Fever came to town, I gladly paid the inflated prices for a chance to witness Caitlin Clark. Normal cheap seats go for $12.00, but when she was here, they were going for $92.00. And they had to move to a larger venue to accommodate twice as many fans. I'm sure that the concessions and jersey sales were through the roof. After the game I witnessed one of the most poignant scenes in sports. Literally, hundreds of kids were anxiously waiting and hoping for an autograph from her. When some of them were fortunate enough to get her autograph, they were reduced to tears. That is how much she is adored and beloved by her young fans. When I think back and reminisce about that moment, I can't help but get choked up. Her impact on the next generation is profound, and inspirational. What parent wouldn't want their child to admire, and emulate someone like her. Her message is, " have a dream, work hard, remain humble, be gracious, be kind, always deflect compliments, and praise others, especially your detractors and haters, always be accountable when things aren't going so well ". People in general, not just athletes would do well to learn an important life lesson from her. Class, dignity, and true grit are admirable and noble qualities. Her fame and notoriety aren't by happenstance. She has worked incredibly hard, and has made the necessary sacrifices to achieve her dreams. I've had many sports role models while growing up, but they all pale in comparison to this inspiring young lady. " I don't believe in magic, said the young boy. The old man smiled. You will when you see her ".

No Smith needs to be starting with Temi coming off the bench…Smith provides a lot of help in the paint with her rebounding along with her ability to make her shots…Temi is great for defense but right now she isn’t able to consistently make her layups…this is the right line up Hull finally able to provide for that 5th spot that all season was going…then having Dantas, Temi and even Wheeler coming off the bench is giving them a full 4 quarter games and the ability to be a dangerous team to go up against in the playoffs with potential to win it all is they keep playing like this but still growing as a team so by the time playoffs begin they will be dangerous offensively and defensively.

@@Daniel_Capital Temi is only getting back to playing after missing 17 games so she is still getting used to playing again…but once she gets back into her grove she will be knocking down those shots making her layups and even her 3pt shot. Either way though both Smith and Temi provides different things so based on the matchup is who should be utilized more for individual games. They should be sharing minutes and then depending on who they play and what’s needed then that player gets more time but the way it is working.
