Eloquent answers as always from Caitlin. Rest up and come back super-powered.

I hope the governor of Indiana realizes how much the state's GDP has risen since your arrival. I hope the owner of the Fever appreciates the value of his franchise has risen in just a few months. I hope they both realize it's only the beginning. You are a national treasure. I hope the team makes the necessary corrections to put the right players and coaching around you. Thank you for season 1. You were amazing!

Such an awesome answer re the social media troll racism stuff. She's so right...the best thing we can do is celebrate the positive, celebrate all the players in the league and the great things they can do. We CANNOT control what the bitter, immature people of this world are going to think and say. However, if we refuse to focus on them, but rather focus on the TRUE fans and focus on the things and people that true fans celebrate, maybe the bitter trolls will lose their power and disappear back under the rock whence they came.

What a wasted opportunity for womens basketball, Sides is clueless or evil.

I hate to say this, but I feel like the statement Clark made condemning hatred won’t be enough for most of the WNBA players. For her to earn their respect, she’s gonna have to do what Paige Bueckers & Cameron Brink have done: Make a statement where she does the whole “I’m privileged b/c I’m a White person. I have a responsibility to use my privilege & voice to uplift those who don’t have a privileged status” & then start becoming an “activist”

If Caitlin's unequivocal statement isn't sufficient for most of the WNBA players ... that's kind of on them. Her way of dealing with all the external distractions is to treat them as exactly that, distractions. And focus on the floor, on improving as a player and as a team. Pretty good message by example, imo. Maybe if she gave back the Nike $ there's be less jealousy. :)

Or she can keep Connor as a side piece and start dating a famous black dude.

Brink and Buckets are not a Clark
@dewuster8885Ай бұрын
@@jackiereinig9921Obviously not. Though it’s a shame the WNBA essentially is forcing CC to become like them off the court.

Nah, I don't think she'll do that. I think if they continue to ask her about it, she'll just repeat what she's already said, and I think that's exactly what she should do. Eventually they'll tire of getting the same answer, and hopefully eventually drop the question.
