Since October 2022, God convicted me to fast and pray and since then I'm TOTALLY clean and free of that sin. This is great! Overcame homosexuality myself. One of the first times someone prophesied over me (wasn't a Christian at all) was randomly on the street, the same day I got involved in my first same sex relationship. God wasn't having a bar of it from the start 😂 He had a way for me, it was a year or so later I came to know Him but He was preparing me the whole time and turned my situation for good as I ended up meeting my husband!

One thing I truly appreciate is that this is the first Indian Christians video on LGBTQIA+ on KZbin that I have come across which is done without being overly critical or judgmental towards them. You have tried to be more sympathetic and sensitive while addressing the subject of LGBTQIA+. Talking about the content: • You said Christians have been the cause of much of his pain irrespective of their sexuality which is true. • You continued, “I thought being gay was inhuman, but now I realize it is just as human as my struggles with heterosexual sins. There are more commands against heterosexual sin than homosexuality in the Bible,” which is true again. • I too advocate that any kind of lust, perverseness is sin. • I partially agree when you said, “It is true that everyone needs to surrender their sexual identity to God because, in God’s eyes, all are equal.” However, you further continued, “Let God define what someone’s identity is… because He made them.” While it is true that God does not choose or value a person based on their sexual identity, it is important to note that the physical and mental structure of the human body (as a part of God’s intentional creation and design) leads us to categorize human sexuality. This categorization helps individuals understand who they are and not feel puzzled about themselves and their role in society. • There are many people with different sexual orientation who go through a huge amount of emotional trauma and a lifelong battle about their own self (emotions, orientation, behavior, urges, etc.), wondering why these emotions are not regular like others. Someone needs to discover themselves and ask God for help in this process. It may take several years for some to discover who they are and what they should do about it, especially among Christians, as the teaching in Christianity is sometimes so direct that we fail to be sensitive to them. From childhood, they are taught that something is inherently wrong with them. Failing to understand one’s own identity may result in depression, anxiety, frequent guilt, poor performance, and, in the worst case, suicide. Heterosexuals will certainly find it difficult to understand as they normally don’t face challenges like this because of their sexuality. • You said “What you human called human is pretty much sin in most of the time”. Yes, it is, if the principle is not grounded on the common theology of the Bible like love, truth, forgiveness, Holiness (setting oneself aside from God’s will), honesty, humility, joy, peace, justice, equality, redemption and many more. • You quoted Romans 1:26-27, but the idea here of the fall of men and women has to be understood carefully. It was not about sexual orientation but about exchanging God’s glory for human-made idols. Idol worship is the cause of God’s wrath (Romans 1:18-25). Concerning the terms “natural” or “unnatural” (often used by many heterosexuals to criticize people of other sexual orientations), we must be cautious. The Greek word used here for "unnatural" is "physis," which means "against one's nature." In that case, if a heterosexual behaves like a homosexual and a homosexual behaves like a heterosexual, it will be unnatural. Just as the love between two heterosexuals is natural, so too is the love between two homosexuals. Love is beautiful, and everyone wants to experience it, sometimes at the cost of any precious thing. Friends, family members, relatives, religious groups, and even the law of the land will highly approve and support a heterosexual couple. But when it comes to people with other sexual orientations (even in committed lifelong relationships), we fail to understand and support their love, calling it unnatural. At times what is natural for the heterosexual mindset may appear unnatural to homosexuals, and there is researchable evidence for this. In the same way, heterosexuals learn love and attraction naturally with an instinct of their body and mind (with the flow of hormones), so too do people of other sexual orientations naturally love the person they are in love with. • However, I am quite discouraged to see the video being biased in supporting the literal interpretation of the Bible. This video is very clear saying homosexuality is a sin and some one cannot abide with God if they continue to live a life like this. According to this the only designed way of living is living like a heterosexual. Someone must suppress his/her emotion no matter how intense it is. Someone is not allowed to express love of his/her choice no matter how badly they feel like expressing it. • You say identifying to the homosexual life will result in death and spiritual dryness. It will affect future generations and all of creation. But for me not knowing Jesus as one’s Saviour and Lord will lead to destruction (John 3:36) and not their sexual orientation. On the last day God will judge our works (Matthew 25:31-46) not our sexual orientation. All I can say about the effect on future generations is our footprints of love, forgiveness and sacrifice will have more impact than our opinion on homosexuality. • You indirectly said homosexual life is filled with lust saying God did not make us with lust. We are certainly a new creation in God. But God wants us just as we are. I personally believe you are a beautiful creation of God and the thing that people think is wrong in LGBTQIA+ People, if that will be taken away, they may not be in your real self. I praise God, for we are all, irrespective of our sexual orientation, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). There are few things I would like to say • There are many who know about their sexual identity since birth and for some they come out of their closet in the later period of their lives. • Those who have identified their sexuality due to some incident that happened in their childhood are the victims. In situations like this many find it difficult to choose a side due to their past experience. • There are some called gender flued who face the difficulty to identify with one’s orientation. Therefore, at times they may think they are straight and some other time as a person of other sexual ordination. • There are situational-behaviour like sexual activities in boarding school, hostel, Army camp and jail etc. where a person does not have any other option to express their urge and do it to another person and get addicted to such a habit. • But there are others who are free from the above categories of influences and yet they know about their real inclination and they pursue after it. In KZbin you may find a number of testimonies about homosexuals turning to heterosexuals but all cannot be put to one single category. • Sexual orientation is the very essence of a person and it will always be with that person till he or she dies. Because the LGBT+ are a part of God’s wonderful creation. • But at the same time all that has to be valued is commitment and dedicated love to only one person. Hi friend, I’m glad you appreciate the compassion in this video. It is the compassion of Christ. I have read through your words carefully to understand where you’re coming from. It is true that homosexuals face a ‘natural’ struggle that heterosexuals don’t. May I also point out that just as I said there are more verses against sexual immorality, even heterosexuals are commanded by God to not do many ‘natural’ or what we call, ‘just being human’ things. Like lust. It is unnatural to our hormones and physical body to not follow lust and where it leads. I know this is quite a different situation from being attracted in a straight way versus a homosexual way, but I only say it because this point is an example why many of your points will not work in the kingdom of God. He asks us to submit to Him entirely, even to put ourselves to death as Jesus died on the cross. So the question of biological structure, hormones, attraction, human will, human wisdom and understanding and nitpicking words and their alternative interpretations, all fall flat before the cross of Jesus Christ. He died for our sins, and He says if you follow to follow Me, you must pick up your cross. We cannot take His cross and maintain our own ideas about what He is more or most concerned about. Being saved is being dead to ourselves and alive to God for His purposes. So we must pick one brother. You may have very different struggles from me in this area, but I may have very different struggles from you in other areas. Humanly we are the same before God. His call is the same for both of us. Pick up your cross and follow Jesus. The Holy Spirit will enable us in all truth and ways. Even giving new desires and new spirit and mind according to His purposes. This is His promise and He’s been doing it for me in many areas. The Lord bless you too, thank you.

Many experience deep inner conflict, societal rejection, and profound loneliness simply for being who they are. These struggles can lead to significant emotional and mental health challenges. Jesus was known for His compassion and empathy. He reached out to those who were marginalized, offering them love, acceptance, and healing. As His followers, we are called to do the same. We must listen to the stories and experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals with empathy and respect, recognizing their pain and struggles. Many of your points will not work in the kingdom of God if they are not based on the reign of God, where the principles of love, peace, equality, salvation, and justice exist. It is right that God asks us to submit to Him entirely, even to the point of putting ourselves to death as Jesus did on the cross. However, as children of God, the main concern for us should be to use the gifts, nature, and talents He has given us to their fullest for His glory. This includes embracing new desires, a new spirit, and a new mind according to His purposes, not our own personal opinions and plans. In Matthew 7:12, Jesus teaches us, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." This Golden Rule encourages us to treat others with the same love and respect we desire for ourselves. It calls us to stand in solidarity with those who are hurting and to support them with compassion. The Apostle Paul reminds us in Galatians 6:2, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ." We are called to bear one another's burdens, which includes acknowledging and respecting the personal and emotional struggles that LGBTQIA+ individuals face. This means creating an environment where they feel loved, accepted, and valued. God’s love is boundless and inclusive, embracing each one of us as His beloved children. As we seek to live out our faith, let’s strive to embody the compassion and empathy that Jesus demonstrated. Let us respect and affirm the unique journeys and experiences of our LGBTQIA+ siblings, standing with them in their pain and celebrating their joys.
