Not afraid to admit it. I cried. This one moment ( I love you) for me is the single most powerful moment in the series so far. Am still catching up. You can tell by Flokis face that he never expected those words to come from Ragnar. He has been waiting forever for that and it meant everything to him.

Now, as you said, season 5 is upon us and there is going to be... A 2 hours premiere episode :) Yes, this isn't a joke :) That was one EPIC description Lola!! Wow... You described everything perfectly and I must admit, I gor pretty emotional when you told us of how to this day, Milena sends you quotes from Ragnar... Yes, the show changed many of ours lives... hbo Rome was my favorite show of all time (I hope you'll watch it btw :). But Vikings is something else... Nothing comes close for me. And I agree, these episodes are tough because now Ragnar doesn't have the support he once had. Everyone are so ungrateful towards him and all the great things he did. Much of their richest, growth and strength are due to his past discoveries and raid... Sure he didn't tell them of the settlement, but the Paris raid brought them riches beyond belief. And even Lagertha... She loves him but she was very quick to throw all the blame for what happened in Wessex on him. She was part of the deal with Ecbert, as an earl no less... She even suspected Ecbert, when she basically told him, "I know your bluff, you are a selfish bastard". So why didn't she tell that to Ragnar? What about her clansmen who died in Wessex? It is true that Ragnar left after what happened... But for a long time, he wanted to just get away from everything and everyone... But yes, this episode was an amazing premiere. The Floki scene and Lagertha scene... :) And the way he just jumped in front of Helga, after years of no seeing her :) But my second favorite after Floki was the final scene with Ivar... :) "Then don't come.." "Don't tell me what to do!" "Then COME..." "No. Ask me like you asked my brothers" "Ivar-" "Of course I'll come!"

About the crying thing, I have been quite tearfull as well this season. I blame you, I've started watching Vikings because of your reactions 😉. I don't really know what will happen next but the foreshadowing seems not that great for Ragnar. So I'd better prepare for the worst I fear...😥

10:14 That's just beatifull and I never saw it like that when I saw the series back then. As I grow older I get to be wiser and have a 2nd opinion on alot of things, let this be one of them. I think alot of men are not used to share feelings, and for me it feels wrong. Gotta look strong all the time. Ragnar saying these words to Floki is the absolute definition of strong. Its beatifull. I hope in time that I can share some of mine 🙂
