Ubbe is the the only son of Ragnar that trully understood his father. Every single Ragnar's dream was fulfilled by Ubbe. And it still blows my mind that the actor look such alike. Even acts very alike. 10/10 casting, 10/10 acting - thank you Jordan Patrick Smith!

I loved all of Ragnars sons (except Sigurd) but Ubbe in particular inherited the best qualities of Ragnar. His story was my fave towards the last couple seasons. Great edit btw 🥰

Ubbe has become my favourite character in the show, i already had a feeling that would happen eventually. We don't know if the real Ubbe was truly a son of Ragnar Lodbrok, many Scandinavians claimed to be a son of Ragnar but we can never find out the truth, Ragnar himself is still a question and we can't do a dna test on people we don't even know have ever existed or if they have, where their grave sites are. But the biggest names, Ivar the Boneless, Björn Järnsida, and Ubbe, are the most believable figures. For me as a Frisian, knowing the real Ubbe was the Duke of the Frisians, probably had a Frisian mother and had led Frisians into battle, it instantly connects me to him, the real Ubbe that is. Making him my favourite from the get go, because of Ubbe's origins.

Merecido tributo a Ubbe! Es inevitable no acordarse de Ragnar e incluso compararles, pues el parecido es evidente tanto en el fisico como en el carácter reflexivo. Ubbe viene a cerrar el.ciclo que inició Ragnar, éste viajó hacia el oeste y descubrió lo que hoy se conoce como Inglaterra y Ubbe llevado por su curiosidad y espíritu aventurero descubre América. Buen trabajo Raúl, me alegra que alguien le haya dedicado un video pues no creo haber visto muchos.

I’ve always believed Ubbe Ragnarsson was the true heir to Ragnar. He inherited so many of Ragnar’s traits; his inquisitiveness, adventurist, curiosity, morals, (you see this as early as s4 when he accosts the Nun, but doesn’t maliciously harm her. He saves her from torture or slavery through a mercy kill.) sense of responsibility for his people and the unwillingness to be King. After all, Ragnar was forced into fighting Earl Haraldsson. The choice was either that or watch Lagertha get killed. Ubbe reminds me so much of season 2 Ragnar. There are so many parallels, from helping Alfred, wanting land instead of blood shed and the inability to kill his traitor of a brother. He even had sympathy with Hvitserk when Bjorn arrested him for the murder of his mother. Not to mention the fact that he is the best true born fighter of the true sons of Ragnar. (Bjorn is 100 % Rollo’s; they are almost identical in battle and they share the same physical stature.) I loved the juxtaposition between Ubbe and Bjorn. Lastly, you have to respect that Ibbe stood by Bjorn and Lagertha over his two brothers. That tells you that he is a man of principle, like his father. I love how the actor also captures those small signature mannerisms and idiosyncrasies. Perfect casting.
