Stuffed Banana Fry Recipe
Ingredients
Banana - 5 nos
Rice flour - 1 cup
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Cardamom - 4 or 5 nos
Cashewnut- 10 to 12 nos
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 2 or 3 tbsp
Oil - 6 or 7 tbsp
Method
Firstly ,we have to crush cardamom and set aside.
Then we have to chop the cashewnut into small pieces and set it aside.
Heat ghee in a pan ,add cashewnut .
Saute and fry them well.
Drain and keep aside
Again, we are using the same pan for filling preparation.
Add the grated coconut to the hot ghee pan.
Sauté till they become a light golden brown.
Then add sugar granules and saute till they are completely melted.
Add fried cashew nut pieces and crushed cardamom powder.
Saute them well for a few more minutes.
Remove from fire and transfer into a bowl for cooling
Then we have to peel the banana and set it aside.
Take a bowl add rice flour, salt ,mix them well.
Then add water little by little and make a thick batter. Set aside.
Then make a shallow slit lengthwise in the middle of the peeled banana.
Gently fill the coconut mix into the slits.
Then push the stuff inside the banana as much as you can.
Then pour some rice flour batter on top of the filling.
cover the slit with the rice flour mix and set aside.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Add the stuffed bananas and deep fry them well.
Then turn all sides and fry until the banana becomes light golden in color.
Ones the fry is ready transfer on a bowl.
Serve the tasty stuffed banana fry with tea or coffee
