A few guys from apps responded the next day - so I take back that 100% flakiness thing 😅

Haha! I agree 100% about the Uber pickup at Barcelona Airport. Spent maybe an hour roaming around looking for it lol!

@ 13:07 "I've gotten the vibe that guys here are flaky" Now that made me LOL. Gay men flaky? Unheard of LOL
@samarthmehta872 ай бұрын
so true! also gay culture seems to be similar all over the world imo. Guys will be flaky. You will definitely receive unsolicited messages. Guys will ghost you. Guys will out of nowhere call you ugly and block you.. oh not you? just me then? ugly cries

My sense is Barcelona is much more of an in-person cruising city.

Absolutely luv! In BCN socialization is dead and it only business talk! Madrid is WAY BETTER in terms of kindness and openness ❤

Great video. I have had the same experience travelling in Spain and checking out Grindr. The Spaniards seem to tend to prefer to communicate with other Spaniards. I hope you enjoy Madrid. Chueca, the gay neighborhood is a great barrio to enjoy. But the serious nightlife starts so late which has been an adjustment at first. Looking forward to your Madrid video!

Thank you, stay tuned Steve!

Been to Barcelona, Valencia, Granada and Madrid. Did not go as a gay tourist, but I did visit a gay bar in Madrid, where I met a friend of mine who lives there. I had a great time in all of those cities and looking forward to getting back to Spain/Portugal to visit more areas.

Thoughts on Valencia and Granada? How do they compare to Madrid and Barcelona?
@marcuscole43944 ай бұрын
@@KevenTalks , Granada is pretty cool,especially the Alhambra. Have friends in Valencia, so was able to see it thru their experiences. I liked Valencia, especially the old town and the beach area is very nice. I have a hard time comparing as everything that I see there, I can't see here in the US. Valencia seemed more friendly than Barcelona. Enjoy your time.

Great video - like all of the ones your create! I love them!! We also went to Barcelona and loved it!! Similar experience! Our friends here at home in Ft Lauderdale said we should have gone to the gay city next to Barcelona called Sitges!! Have you been there?
@KevenTalks4 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching, Mitch! I did not go to Sitges. Only been to Barcelona and Madrid - video on Madrid coming shortly 😎

Did you use Planet Romeo, Hornet, HeeSay, Scruff & Feeld apps?
@KevenTalks4 ай бұрын
Nope - just Grindr, Tinder, and Bumble
@dee35224 ай бұрын
You need to use those apps since Europeans don't use those apps like Americans do. Planet Romeo is the main app they use. That's why your grid is lacking.

Actually in Spain, gay neighbor is not that obvious and right in your face kind thing like in US. If you are looking for fun time, maybe bathhouse is another option:)

Barcelona is lovely ☺ but the tourism is definitely getting too much, it was crazy when I was there in 2009 god knows what it’s like now.

Spain is supposedly one of the most gay friendly countries in the world according to the statistics. Shame to see a lot of graffiti on such beautiful architecture. Can't wait to hear about Madrid. Love the sexy shirt! That color suits you. Safe travels.
@KevenTalks4 ай бұрын
Oh interesting, didn't know that stat! I will say that in person (at restaurants, bars, etc), people are very friendly.

Hey you any plans on coming to San Francisco?
@KevenTalks4 ай бұрын
Not anytime soon! You recommend?

@@KevenTalks Come for Folsom Fair it’s the last Sunday of September. Then the following Sunday will be the Castro Street fair. Our summer in San Francisco is usually all of September and half of October. That’s when San Francisco it’s at its best and it’s the most beautiful time to come and visit. Have you been here before?
