Massive miss not calling this a “stand gru attraction”. I got on 3 times yesterday and while it wasn’t what I expected, I still enjoyed it. I am looking forward to going back on it once the app integration is working, I feel that will greatly improve the experience.

This is pretty low quality. How is this any better than a Wii game from 2006? Obviously it's on large screens - but who cares? This isn't why people spend half their life savings to go on vacation Universal. It's genuinely just a 'shovelware' video game. Hope Epic Universe has a much higher standard to hit with it's rides than this filler attraction.

I was eating at Minion Cafe and the kids at the table next to me all said they liked this ride better than Buzz and Toy Story Mania. And two out of three even liked it more than MiB! I wouldn’t go that far myself, but it’s more fun in person than it may seem.

Hello! Can you guys cover Universal’s new ride assistance policies for people with disabilities? It looks like they’re going into effect next week. I very rarely see coverage on this topic but my wife has disabilities and I’m trying to get a greater understanding of how she can feel most comfortable ❤

Visit the Universal Orlando website and take the link to the IBCCES accessibility card signup process. Enter in your wife’s info and include a note from a doctor, medical provider, insurance, or an existing accessibility permit of some type and you’re usually approved within 48 hours. What most folks aren’t talking about is that the medical note does not have to disclose a person’s condition, only what type of accessibility or accommodation they require at the park. You may be reached out to for further clarification while your application is being reviewed. Once approved, the card issued is good for one year. I haven’t done it myself, but the upside is you’ll no longer have to explain medical conditions to guest services team members at the park. Just show your card. And everything is confidential. If we learn more we may discuss it on a podcast soon, but I suggest checking out the link and following the steps yourself. Went on it 2 days ago and yesterday….it’s ok….I miss Shrek 4D though, my kids thought the same, BUT there was an improvement on yesterdays ride through…they spaced out my kids and skipped a dot to be more spread out, that helped a ton on seeing where the laser was. The queue outside area is very hot and just tv screens for trivia but the inside queue is beautiful, wish THATS where the queue started. The merch is awesome and very themed to all characters, very impressive with choices 👍🏻

The blasters seem pretty big. Are they really light weight? It seems like it would be difficult for little kids to hold them the way they show in the instructional video.

They have a little heft to them but I’ve seen kids 5 and up able to use them fine. They have mini versions for very young children (but don’t tell them they’re non-operational).

Thank you Alicia! A lot of work has been done in a short period of time. This looks like a great attraction for families. Nice to see some ideas being introduced in the park that haven't been done before. I'm looking forward to seeing how the conveyor belt moves you around the attraction without pivoting each person on the curves...

No filming in the ride portion only. I double triple quadruple checked, and it’s okay to take photos and video in the queue areas. This video only shows before and after the ride.
