My favorite thing about this animatic is that Frisk actually HAS the different weapons and armor instead of most genocide Frisk animatics where they just have a knife (like an actual knife not the toy knife) and it makes sense since the player would equip the better armor and weapons to make the killing faster.

I really like how you depict frisk as being proud to be the villain throughout the entire video. So many times I see animations with frisk hesitating to do the genocide run/feeing guilty in the end, and while that’s perfectly fine and all, seeing this different interpretation of frisk is really cool. Yes, you had them feel guilty about it in the end BUT STILL. the pride throughout the run was so well done and needed. Also the cuts to the music were perfect 😩👌

This is so cool!! Love how you portray all the characters, especially Frisk and Chara. Personally I'm not a big fan of the "Chara made them do it, when it's pacifist it's Frisk and when it's genocide it's Chara" interpretations since Chara only awakens after the genocide route is complete, and this is portrayed wonderfully here, the soulless pacifist route was a great choice for it!

Chara approves and pariticipates in the genocide right after its activation. I would call someone who is encouraging a serial killer just because they like to feel powerfull a bad guy. Chara never "follows your lead." If Chara doesn't like something, he makes it clear. When he likes somwthing, he takes a part in it. Simple as that. Just because our actions inspired Chara (so-called "guidance") doesn't mean that Chara are braindead and can't make his own desicions. We never say why we're doing it. Chara decided himself to do that for power when he felt powerfull thanks to us. Chara literally says that CHARA realized his purpose just thanks to us.

@@kelp-ist3469 Thank you! Also, advise: don't watch it ever again. I know what video you're talking about. I can say shortly why it's bad. I was amused by the fact that the creator says that Chara came to the center of this village, and EXPECTED humans to attack, wanted to show Asriel what humanity really is (8:41 - timecode of it) At the same time, the creator says in a serious tone that the desire to use full power was only self-defense, as if Chara did not come here with full understanding that they would be attacked, and accordingly planned to attack in response with full power. Chara wanted to show what humanity is really like, after all. Or when the creator says that there was no way Chara could have known that control would be split between them when the soul was absorbed, but at the same time **SOMEHOW** Chara should know that the souls would rebel, and therefore wouldn't absorb them to kill a lot of people. While even Flowey, who personally rebelled against Chara's wishes and resisted, didn't know that souls would have such a strong will when he absorbed only six, not seven or more. Or when the creator says how corrupted Chara is, that he just CAN'T help but say cruel and terrible things about the monsters around (starting with 4 LV on the genocide path), help the Player in killing for power and support it, BUT at 20 LV (maximum LV, and by this logic the maximum level of corruption) Chara hesitates for some reason, and the Player needs to "push" Chara to strike. Literally holding Chara's hand for Chara to do it. And that's just part of it. I don't understand how people believe this video, full of contradictions and manipulations. Even through I was one of them a long time ago, too.

I have been convinced of your point and so my future is thus Chara is a bad person and also now that I think about it. it's the same logic some people apply to Eric Cartman from south park like "he's a kid cut him a break" when the so called kid committed war crimes and made chilly using his father and fed it to his half brother. I don't think being a child is a good excuse Same with being ok with genocide like in chara's case

i really like how you portray frisk and chara [in genocide they both very much are evil and chara helps us multiple times] for me personally no mercy route was about bringing justice to the fallen humans. monsters were planning a war and would have killed everyone if frisk/the player didn't interfere [either with mercy or death]. for me after i saw what happened to the kids, alphy's experiments on the dead/[fallen down], just the lack of info on humanity and what they think, and how chara only punishes US and NEVER the monsters. [not directly anyways] i decided if i can't dust them like any sane person would, and i have to go out of my way to be perfect/nice and even then they STILL wont leave me alone. and have 0 remorse for killing 6 innocent kids then they can't ever be happy, they like us don't deserve it. am i good person for choosing that route, hell no but it is the most justified/correct route.

thank you!! i don’t believe either of these characters have very good morals. and huh i never really thought about it like that! the reason i personally enjoy the genocide route the most is because game play wise it’s the most fun haha. having to do all those tricks to get monsters to spare me or running away was kinda boring. but your reasoning makes total sense to me from the human’s perspective!! we don’t really know much about what happened in the war, but i don’t think ALL the monsters underground deserved to be there. i mean cmon i think everyone felt bad killing papyrus or attempting to kill monster kid but the others not so much for me. that’s kinda what this vid is about. the morality of not only chara and frisk but toriel, asriel, sans, undyne, etc. for example in the lyrics “are we good, are we bad” it flips from toriel talking to you sweetly to the face she makes when she kills you. really interesting response to my vid, thank you!

Sans threatened a child [a bad one sure but still not a good look and that child was being nothing but nice.] Undyne wants to kill humans she actively says as much. And asgore while I feel bad for him as alot happened, he also has nobody to blame but himself. He could have had one of the kids live underground and then ask if they can use their soul to save monsters by going to the humans. Humans would 100% send prisoners on death row to help them based on our own humans. Asgore went about it in the WORST possible way. But you are right not all monsters deserve it some like Jerry, tems or paps don't deserve what happens and are mostly trying to either play with us, or are ignorant to what asgore really want the souls of humans for.
