Yes the lesser spotted villiers with it's oil bath air cleaner, a rare beast indeed. Just for reference the keyway on the drive side of the crank is a easy way to find tdc, if you dont want to take the head off, as the crank will be at TDC with the keyway pointing up dead vertical .

Excellent mate, just pulling a Villiers engine from an old cement mixer which has been left untouched in vegetation for about 35 years. Ill use your vids for reference. Looking forward to your next tea20 vid, working on a couple as farm runabouts no paint mind, love your colour scheme. You mentioned a bitumous type paint you used on the tea20 what brand was that? Wa it a bunnings job? , thanks again

Gday Pete. Thanks for the feedback. Yeah those Villiers engines seem to show up everywhere. The bitumous paint you refer too actually came from Supercheap. It's just an underbody paint in a can that is located in the spray can section and I think you can buy the applicator gun from them as well or it can be painted on. Hope this helps Pete. Take care.

Hi there thank you for the video. I am in the process of getting a villers Mk 12 for a Lightburn 3 1/2 cf Cement mixer. restoration I am not sure if it is the original for this mixer but at least the dates will be around the same. My cement mixer is 1950s The only information a can find on the petrol that came with is is it was 2 hp. i think the villers is 3hp again i could be wrong. Would you consider selling a restored engine?

Gday Mate.Thanks for the comment. Most of the engines I come across arent fitted to a machine of some sort so I can help you there. As I state in most of my videos these engines are not restored , just cleaned up using the parts the engine came with. If parts are damaged beyond repair then generally they are abandoned. I will think about selling one.
