Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, has come forward with allegations of rape and sex trafficking against Vince McMahon, a co-founder of WWE and close friend of Donald Trump. McMahon has since resigned from his position as TKO Chairperson. The allegations have rocked the world of professional wrestling, but a look at McMahon's long career indicates these latest revelations fit a pattern of openly misogynistic conduct stretching back decades. Abraham Josephine Riesman, author of Ringmaster: Vince McMahon and the Unmaking of America, joins Edge of Sports for a discussion on the allegations against McMahon and its implications for the sport.

I was a fan of the WWF in my younger days, Mom and Dad got a kick out of me watching Wrestling because my Grandfather, an educated man used to watch Wrestling before I did, we both knew it was a load of Bull but I enjoyed it because I used to work out with weights and had a muscular build and some of these Wrestlers were inspirational when it came to hitting the weights. I also read a lot of books and paid attention to Politics because I knew something was wrong and it probably stemmed from Politics, I remember George HW. Bush mentioning this NWO in his Speeches followed shortly afterwards with the WWF Promoting a Team of Bad guys in black shirts with the letters NWO representing their Team, I became suspicious of the aspect of Grooming their audience for this NWO project, that’s when I read about Steroid packages with the Wrestlers paycheques, abuse of Women, double crosses in set matches, Owen Hart’s demise and some of these Wrestlers being outright bad people towards the Public. Mc MaMahon’s WWF quickly became an accomplice to the Corruption in Politics, Sports, Music and Entertainment and something I boycotted.
