Even if the allegations are true, I do not see a victim in this situation. I see a dysfunctional and opportunistic work environment where men and women engage in back door deals to get ahead. These acts were also consensual because she agreed to it and benefitted from these acts. As an employee, you have the choice to resign if you feel you are treated inappropriately and can sue for such behavior. I cannot take the intentions of a person as legitimate after they benefit and subsequently sign an NDA for profit. It is becoming too common for 'victims' to pursue their 'abusers' in civil court and not criminal court. In civil court, you do not need the same level of evidence as you would in criminal court so the prosecution can control the direction of the trial more. Scrupulous people have simply found a loophole to benefit and are using the court system as a collection agency while tarnishing the accused person's reputation, irregardless of whether they did it or not. The accused often settle out of court and attach an NDA simply because they don't want to have to spend the money and go through the public drama. I do not take these civil suits seriously, because how does it benefit the public at large ?.. suing a person doesn't give justice. If a person has committed criminal acts, they should be behind bars where no one can be harmed by them again. Vince should be ousted for ethical reasons and for the company to survive, but it is skeptical that these allegations come out after a payment was allegedly missed. This screams shake down.. However, Vince opened himself up to this by playing where he works and being thirsty. You should never put yourself in a position to where someone can use sensitive material against you later.

You couldn’t have said this any better. Furthermore, it makes me sick to see people saying “Vince is a predator”. Maybe he is indeed a predator, but in this particular case, I see no predator activity. Just two mentally twisted adults consensually engaging in sexual proclivities. The real problem here is she stopped getting paid for it, and now she wants to play victim.

Janel Grant's accusations sound like the kind of "confabulation" that is common among people afflicted with bipolar disorder or borderline personality disorder. The patient "believes" that the most amazing tales that they've concocted in their own mind, actually happened, when they never did. Or, they heavily embellish or exaggerate what actually did happen. Janel Grant's psychiatric history should be fair game for the defense in this civil trial.

I think that Janel Grant's psychiatric history should be fair game for the defense in this case. I hate how people want to villanize him so bad and blow this up. It's immediately believable because of a CHARACTER he portrayed on his show. Remember that sable sued the company and then was rehired to become the character that she initially had issue with. Vince is a genius and business man and it's sad to see this story catch like wildfire from people who want to see the biggest shake down. Vince has always made WWE transcend just wrestling and should have more respect and ally's in the people. On the flip side it's nice to see the loyal ones coming around to do damage control. Best believe that the Rocks return has nothing to do with EGO rather it puts the story telling and controversy making back in the company's hands. His step down was long over due, he gave us the run of his lifetime. Thank you Vince.
