Exposed is a brilliant album, Steve Stevens is one of the diverse and talented guitarists in the last 30 years. He's a great songwriter too... It is fantastic to see this footage of Stevens live... such a shame Vince Neil can't match the rest of the band for pure talent, he's singing flat all the way through the high bits... it's painful....

Kristian Kumanov Vik was Enuff Z’Nuff’s original drummer. Yeah, he’s fantastic. If you’ve never heard EZ, look up an album called Animals With Human Intelligence. One of the best rock albums of the 20th Century. Their first album is outstanding, as well, but the second rocks more. Donnie Vie is an absolutely amazing vocalist. Love the way he and bassist Chip Z’Nuff harmonize. And they had a virtuoso guitarist named Derek Frigo. Classically trained, and he could just rip. If the Beatles and Van Halen had a love child, it would sound like Enuff Z’Nuff.

Now THAT is a live band!!! I saw this tour in Dallas. I’d have been completely fine with Vince just taking the set off. Like this recording, he was really flat when he was actually singing. Steve Stevens and Vik Foxx put on an absolute show, though. I’ve long been a fan of Enuff Z’Nuff, but never saw them with Vik behind the kit. You don’t really get a feel for how powerful a drummer that guy is until you see him live. He’s an incredible showman, but he hits those things hard. And what can I say about Mr. Atomic Playboy. Steve Stevens is a god. Seeing him and Ed in the same show was unreal. I’d only been playing for about four years at that point. I never practiced so hard in my life as I did after seeing those two virtuosos. And Steve’s tone was fucking hot! That Ernie Ball sounded beautiful. I need to see what his live rig was. Vince’s original lineup included Adrian Vandenberg. I would have given my left nut to see him and Steve Stevens on stage together.

I think the 1993 VNB was a very tight and talented unit. I honestly believe it showed Vince in a much better light Musically than being with Motley Crue had done before. I couldn't believe Exposed when I first heard it. Sister of Pain aside, all the other tracks are brilliant and some are quite Technically challenging.

I agree. Exposed is such a great album. I always thought Steve Stevens was a badass guitarist, but after I bought this album, I was a full fledged fan of his. Steve is one of my biggest influences on the guitar. He's also an amazing flamenco player too. Vince's vocals on Exposed are at his best, but as you can hear in this video, not so good live. But compared to the way he sings today, well, you know.

Vince couldn't make it through the whole song without running off stage for a drink. This was the beginning of the end for Vince really. It was a decent album, and he still put on a semi-decent performance at least half of the time. But you can see he isn't that into it any more, he is starting to gain weight at an alarming rate, and perhaps worst of all he had just lost interest in how he looked on stage. I mean is that a baseball jersey and headband? Really? And that's better than what he would usually wear, which would mainly just be jeans and t-shirt. Such a shame, him and the band when they took him back, fallen so far from greatness. Crue should have either stuck with Corabi despite label pressure, or just called it a day after that Corabi album. Because they have just been a joke since then, and in the last 15 years they have been truly awful. Mick so stiff and ill he can barely play, needing more backing tracks than Justin Beiber, Nikki STILL not able to play a string on the upstroke, and misses as many notes as he plays when forced to fret the strings (which isn't often, he tries to play open E and A strings as much as he can, even after 40 years of "playing"), Vince just wobbling and warbling around the stage using more auto-tune than Cher in her awful single believe, and Tommy, who fair enough can still play ok, but is more interested in being a celebrity these days than being a musician (although after years in bands myself, we know that drummers aren't really musicians ;) what has 3 legs and a prick? A drum stool). They rely on backing tracks and auto-tune 100%, and sound truly truly disgusting without them. What a righteous shame.
