I just found this on my feed. Although I have never studied with Mr. Herseth or Mr. Cichowicz, my trumpet teacher "Prof" William Fielder did study with them both for 40 years. I can not tell you how much the concepts of tone production they passed down have greatly improved my trumpet-playing life.

Oh my! To hear my friend and mentor speaking in his youth…what a treat! I didn’t realize this recording existed. Thank you for posting this. I miss him so much and think of him daily.
