You should be proud, this song is very well known all over the Rez! 😊 I happened to run across it again and it brought back good memories of a time in my life that was very good and I remember working at a restaurant in Tuba City and for some reason this song is the only song we sung all day!!! 😂😂😂😂, You should be very proud because he touched a lot of people that he didn't even know, like me!!!😁 Have a great day!!!

Really glad he was a part of our high school performances around 2004. Tohatchi High School. Our teacher would invite him over because we had the Johnson O Malley grants to fund the Navajo school programs. We all loved your gramps.

This use to get to me, and it still does up to this day. Vincent was a good man, always funny. Its a great honor to have a song written Rita. Because my name is Rita. And my husband teases me. I know,,,, all the Ritas out there. You are also honored. RIP Mr. Craig.

A very precious gift indeed. Your grandfather was so very proud of you as well, and I’m sure he was there to meet you and take you home safely, where the love was when you passed as well, Mr. Craig. You gave so much, first in the service of your Country, and then in your heart-warming humor and stories in your beautiful songs. Ihééd’íín (“Thank you” in MY language… Jicarilla Apache.)

Hearing this made cry. I remember hearing this while my nali and I would herd sheep in the summer ❤️ if I could rewind time. That be the time I would go back. We would laugh and tease about one another stealing candy at the trading post here in kayenta ,az

At 6:04 you can hear a little boy saying: “Daddy… DADDY… Ahm stUCK!” So appropriate, so cute… it’s almost like the little boys in Mr. Craig’s stories! Priceless. One must assume it’s the person who is recording the performance to share with all of us… and his/her little precious boy “got stUCK… You have to say it the way I tried to communicate to everyone… with the hard glottal stop at the end of the stUCK!
