Where was the thunderstorm?? That was just a heavy rain storm

Thunderstorms doesn't have to produce lightning at all you know. For example, say if it's hailing outside but you don't see any lightning or hear any thunder it would still be a thunderstorm because hail is only possible in cumulonimbus clouds (Meaning thunderstorm clouds) And by the way 4:42
