This is a mini-documentary about the crimes that brought down one of America's most beloved icons...Jared from Subway.
This video is not meant to slander the name of Jared Fogle of Subway Corporation or others involved. This is all information I found through interviews with the families and formed into a biography documentary and not to spread hate and false claims to the Subway Corp.

It reminds me of an incident that happened at my school. We had one kid, seemed like a nice guy, taking unconsented and inappropriate pictures of girls in his grade and selling them through discord. No joke, my mom is 4’11” and has always looked younger than her age. When she travels she often sticks her hair in pigtails so it’s out of the way but doesn’t get annoying on a headrest. When she was coming back from some trip when I was a toddler (so she was like 25-ish, and again looked significantly younger) Jared was at baggage claim while she was waiting for hers. He started chatting her up and was freakishly, almost cartoonishly friendly like her. He asked her stuff like if she was waiting for her parents to pick her up or something, and once she was like “no I’m just gonna pick my car up from the lot and drive home” he politely ended the convo. She didn’t think much of him treating her like a kid because it happened all the time back then lmao. She had ZERO idea who she was even talking to until she saw him in a commercial a while later. She chalked it up to a cool, funny encounter with a celebrity and moved on with her life. Then when the news came out she looked at the whole encounter SO differently lmao

I’m gonna guess you’ve never had a moment that seemed harmless until you realized, if not the danger, the stress you were actually under. Either that or I imagine you have trouble letting stressful moments go? This is something that happened literally 20+ years ago. It is absolutely something that we as a family laugh about now that it’s firmly in the past and nothing came of it. I’m sorry you don’t have that ability, but we do, and it’s a story that we share when it comes up because it’s such a bizarre moment in our history. But thanks for your concern, I guess.

I worked in television a number of years ago, well before any of his crimes got revealed. I and many of my colleagues have had our share of celebrity encounters, good and bad. Jared was unanimously despised. It’s amazing he said that “15 mins of fame” quote because everybody I knew who met him told me that he carried himself like he was hot shit, more so than others with real, lasting accomplishments. The fact that he called himself “daddy” is just hilarious thinking back to that time period. Dude thought he was a cultural icon because he put himself into a massive calorie deficit every day while eating low quality bread, meat, and vegetables.

It's incredible how a nobody got famous just by losing weight due to eating low quality food and then has the audacity to think they are better than people who have genuine talent. Look up Urinatingtrees video on EDP445, Predator Poachers and the power of ego. It’s a good video and a great reminder that if your a spokes person, tick tocker or any kind of social media influencer your not special. Your just some dude that makes videos for the internet. In about 2009 or 2010, I was working at a shopping center with a food court. I think Jared was doing tours of Subways at the time. During one of my breaks, one of my coworkers asked me if I was gonna meet Jared. I saw no reason for it. He was just someone who was famous for eating sandwiches. So I decided not to. Can't tell you how happy I was with that decision a few years later.

We discussed him in my criminal justice class this past week, I learned a couple extra bits. 1) While Russell Taylor is still responsible, he was himself a victim of Jared's. Regarding physical abuse, Taylor had a gluten intolerance, but Jared forced him to eat donuts and other things that would harm his health. Taylor, last I recall, had a history of being a victim of abuse since childhood, and it's not uncommon to hear how victims would later become predators and keep the cycle aloop. 2) A 60-something year-old inmate named Steven/Stephen Nigg absolutely beat the FUCK out of Jared when he went to prison. When asked why he did it, Nigg only said something to the equivalent of, "I did it for the people." Cool shit.

They are either in general population if they can keep their crimes anonymous, but if anyone finds out they’ll just about be killed and bashed mercilessly. They are absolutely hated in prison, just as much as they are on the outside, if not more, because yes most aussie prisoners have a moral code, and they don’t want to even be around someone disgusting like that and the prison system has to protect them. The lady he was having an affair with is just as shady. This dude is sick for sure, but this lady gladly has an affair with this man knowing he’s married TWICE, hears what this man says and records most likely hoping to break the news for whoever pays the most and gives her the most publicity, and goes on talk shows to cement it. People around Jared have no excuse, especially if they knew about this dude’s sick preferences the moment they found out.

Tbf she did give it to the fbi and she didn’t even give it to the news at all until after it was public knowledge, still not a hero by any means but not as dodgy as Jared

@@mcbrodz1663 you’re right. Made the comment before it was explained my bad. I believe that according to the video, she also sat on that info and recorded him for a long while while continuing her lifestyle as well only deciding enough was enough when her kids got involved.

One of my besties is a social worker. The amount of evidence required for a child abuser to be jailed is frankly *insane*. They're so underfunded as an organisation that gathering evidence themselves, with the amount of clients they have per worker, is frequently impossible. Not saying that she wasn't shady at all, but the explicit material she gathered likely was the final nail in his (formerly large) coffin. (I do get your point tho)

@@sosmooth13 What the previous commenter said; I also imagine it would be a very confusing, awkward situation to hear your husband saying things like that but not be sure whether he's doing anything about it and trying to make sense, and then have him suddenly ask about your own two children that are in the house with him. There isn't much of a timeline here, so who knows what was on her mind until that point. I can't say she's fantastic by any means, but none of us know her personally

Probably was planning to blackmail him if she ever got cut off, until he brought her kids into it. Guess even she had a line that wouldn't be crossed, still pretty amoral if you ask me though.

The worst part about this is how almost everyone involved turned a blind eye to his schemes.... Subway knew about it from multiple reports of Jared's misconduct, and not only turned a blind eye to it or just _enabled_ him, but they even *_hid_* it from the public eye and pretended nothing happened hoping it'd all go away or something His ex-wife (the one he had an affair with after remarrying) knew about it and didn't bother to act on it until it came to her own children (which is honestly so fucked up) and Taylor was in on the whole thing, granted his level of 'fault' is debatable what with the whole "golden handcuffs" blackmailing scheme pulled by Jared

Imo he should have a lesser sentence than Jared because of that. Still both should have got life. Then again, what's the spotlight gonna be like for the guy who watched bedtime changing hidden cam vids of children after he gets outta prison, he gonna be on Howard Stern? Joe Rogen? Steven Crowder gonna interview him? Which lowlife will stoop to such levels for a drop of clout
