So I haven't looked up the answer to the math test at 20:29 and I want to feel smart: Between lots 1 and 2 the value is reduced by 10 Between lots 3 and 4 the value is added by 20 So it would only make sense in my mind that last value on the last row is reduced by 30 from the value of the lot that car is on, therefore that # is 98+30=128? EDIT: Fuck me
@slep101018 жыл бұрын
Even if that was how you'd do it, it would be 68 not 128
@WahDahTa8 жыл бұрын

@Wobbly_Wombat_two8 жыл бұрын
The answer would be 68 if the value on row 6 was ADDED by 30 from the row on which the car is, I proposed the opposite. In case you propose that 68 is under the car it doesn't, at least in my opinion, make sense. If the value is first reduced between lots 1 and 2 and then added between lots 3 and 4 it would, in my mind, go against the chronological rule if the value was again added between rows 5 and 6. In my mind it makes most sense that the value is again reduced, just like it is between rows 1 and 2. I hope I managed to present my reasoning better even though this whole test was a ruse :/

Joel, I still didn't saw the full video (I'm in process) but someday, you should play this rare gem of Snes called "Plok", is weird, did rayman before rayman, have one of the best soundtracks of the snes, great graphics with beautiful colors and the final levels are pure HELL. Sadly, in those years, the market was full of Plataform games, and after Bubsy, the people were so done with platform games that nobody actually played the game.... but the creators of "Plok" are still there, and they are even trying to bring him back with Daily comics in their web page. But, of course, is your decision to play a game or not, I can't and I don't want to force anyone to play a game, is just... you know, it was one of the first games that I played when I was a little kid and is sad to me that no one knows it, because is pretty good.

Hey, Joel, higher-level math is actually super useful. It's this weird situation where simple algebra and geometry have real-world uses, and then you run into the hell of precalculus and higher-level geometry that don't have much real-world application, but they're necessary to learn calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra, which are all VERY useful in the real world. One of the things you learn eventually learn in math is how to use the various tools you practice in class. It's like in music class you learn (for example) a C major scale, but you have to figure out how to use that scale to create actual music.
