The funniest thing about among us bootlegs is that since the art style is so simple, bootleggers can easily make stuff that looks official. Plus they don’t have to worry about getting colours wrong considering the characters are all pallet swaps. No one is trying to oversaturate Among Us because it already is. The jokes are making fun of the oversaturation. So many content creators jumped on that ship that it's literally everywhere. Corpse, Valk and Sykunno literally jumpstarted their careers on the game going from 100k subs to a few million. To say that Among Us was huge is underselling it. Joel has just been very good at staying away from Social Media like he said he would and doesn't know how big Among Us is.
