For anyone who doesn't know & is interested in it: That Alan Wake 2 song "Herald of Darkness" is performed by the fictional band "Old Gods of Asgard" which is a real life band called "Poets of the Fall". I found them thanks to Alan Wake 1 back when I played it and I totally fell in love with their music! They're criminally underrated! Honestly a monster that stands and watches you when you dance so you have to keep dancing until an ally comes and draws its aggro is funny. Like a kobeni situation. Give it a laugh sound when it's watching a dance that can be heard from very far away, and you both give your friends a way to navigate to it, (thus engaging with its unique gimmick more often) and the laugh serves as a stressful alarm of sorts that constantly reminds them you need help while they're being stalked by a bracken

OOH! animation ideas! you know what ross and crew should do? make inspect animations to put in the wheel. like when holding a wheel, you could do steering wheel emote and look like you're driving with the thing one handed or two handed. when holding something like a duck, have the player dance the toy around infront of their face like they are playing with it. the rubix cube, have them examine it and struggle to figure it out. egg beater, swing it around like a magic wand or somethin'. gold bar or whatever, have the dude hunched over like gollem examining their 'precious' glaring at it, holding it to their chest when they glance up and around. just some neat in-universe animations that don't have to be all memes n stuff, would be great! they wouldn't be dedicated emotes to each item, just added emotes to the wheel you'd have to manually pick. so you could very well hold a rubber duck and play the 'precious' emote, or play the 'rubix cube inspect' emote when holding a mask i guess Oh, lmao, just got to the end of the video and ross has already thought of this, haha
