+Ultima Sort of. The SNES version of the game got completed and released(although it's music wasn't made by Tim Follin), but the Genesis version, on the other hand, wasn't neither(although it was pretty much complete). And yeah, it's a cool game overall, but it's best thing is surely the music by Tim Follin. I definetly recommend you checking it out, both in 60hz and 50hz!

That Call of Duty Ghosts game is actually an unreleased game called "Time Trax" and the music was composed by legendary composer Tim Follin. He's the guy that did the Silver Surfer soundtrack for the NES.

Sega shuts down fangames as well (remember the Streets of Rage 3 remake?), they're just more cooperative in regards to the _Sonic_ series because A: it's their one and only cash cow nowadays, and B: since they don't make consoles anymore they don't have to worry as much compared to Nintendo. Plus, unlike Nintendo, Sega never released an add-on whose piracy problems were so bad that it scarred the company for years to come.

+game4brains 123 Weren't they asking for donations for that SORR remake? And they're not relying on Sonic anymore. Their Persona games are being uber succesful. And now Sega even purchased Atlus, so they're doing more than fine. Also, Sonic fangaming was around 1996, when they were still developing consoles. And even if your first point is true, it's still one fangame compared with all the fangames Nintendo shut down. They even hired fans to develop their new classic Sonic game.

So, a fun fact about that Barney game: The game literally can play itself. If you don't touch the controller at all, Barney will just head towards the end of the level all by himself.
