There's 4 types of Simple Series games. 1) Simple minigames like Mahjong or arcadey things like shooters 2)Cool and weird fun concepts 3)Games that try to be big action games but have no budget or experience at all 4)HORNY I can't hate them tho.

As far as Eastern Mythology goes, Mr. Vampire taught me that specifically sticky rice is a Jangshi/Kyonshi repellent. I don't know why, but I know that much. Presumably it has something to do with purity. Same with salt. Also highly recommend that movie series if you can find it online. It’s a clever allusion to the stigma to the counting rice fable. Since sticky rice has such a quantity, vampires cannot quickly count them all and can get easily overwhelmed. So to answer you, nah it’s definitely vampires.

I know what Sniper 2 is. They were trying to go for something like _D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die._ Basically it's a Japanese attempt at making a video game that's like what they think American television dramas like _House_ or _Dexter_ or _Monk_ or _NCIS_ some other better example of a show I don't know about because I don't want a lot of tv are like. The reason they keep rolling the credits at the end of every few cutscenes or missions and play the intro at the beginning of every mission, is that they're trying to make it feel like watching an episode of a tv show.

He missed the best from D3: The original Earth Defense Force. That series is - no joke - absolutely fantastic. It's newest mainline entry is EDF 5, which is nearly perfection. Yes, the graphics are simple (these are pretty much the same models as on the PS2). Yes, the writing and voice acting is phenominally bad, to the point of being perfect. But the core gameplay loop is so good. Kill tons upon tons of enemies. Punch discount Godzilla in the face a million times per second. Flatten entire cities before the aliens have that chance. It is perfect. Bonus: It is pretty much on a constant discount since noone plays it. **frowing emoji**
