I wish they’d be more selective about which fandoms they licensed out. I’m sure there’s tons and tons of Funkos that just never sold because that particular fandom had zero interest in Funkos (or toys, period), or because there were nicer toys available instead, or something. It’s nice to have cheaper toys for those of us who can’t shell out $150 for a heavily detailed anime figure, or something, at least.

@@derpstick5467 Lots of nonsense spanning from opening up some doors solely used for getting cars inside, in this case it being the ghost busters car for venting out the smell to a girl cosplaying as something with a 10 foot wing span getting stuck between some showcase and almost getting trampled. There was also a plethora of harassment report, but luckily I didn't have to deal with any of that. My primary station was across the street they just needed an extra hand.

Harrient Tubman Demon Slayer's writer David Crowman is an interesting dude. Basically he was working 5 jobs to live in NYC (He's an aspiring actor and comic writer so that makes sense) and came up with the concept after seeing a documentary on Harriet Tubman on tv, then seeing Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, then seeing Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters. That's how he got the idea. Through his own money and two kickstarters he got two issues of the comic funded and seems to be working to get the idea off the ground even more now.

It's pretty fun, sometimes you're right on the dollar and sometimes the wind makes your Nihilego hat go full Mary Poppins and ascend into the heavens for three seconds. You can never predict what sort of shenanigans happen at these things, and then right when they're added to the card they always get out-weirded. Conventions have a special sort of chaos, y'know? It's fun seeing a main channel upload of Binceyeat perusing the costumed crowds again! Haven't watched yet but I do hope those Koffing cards were indeed given out
