1:06:15 The game probably has a function to make the CPUs do chip-ins so you don't have to wait as long, which is necessary when you're forced to watch the CPUs finish their holes (not sure why they made *that* choice though). 1:07:00 The trees in this game look better but otherwise the games are about even, graphics-wise. Coming from someone who's played Sword and Shield, there some really good looking parts, like the Eternatus fight.

Watching Boo OB like 3 times in the same hole is one of the most mystifying cpu experiences I've seen. I have no idea why they kept shooting to the right of the fairway hole 8 1:02:26 (watch the red arrow on the map)

Because the courses are all on a sphere, so it isn't unlikely for the AI to get hung up and think the hole is different then it really is. There is so much overlapping programming that it is a wonder it doesn't happen more often. Honestly while the concept of all courses on a giant circle is novel... it isn't good for programming and is prone to bad game ruining glitches being discovered.

To change your skirt to pants (or vice versa) either pause the game or go to the nice toad at the shop that lets you change your clubs, then go to your outfits and select the one you already have on. Also this is far from the prettiest game, but it still looks like it could've been released like 2 console generations after Sword and Shield.

There's "simplifying" and then there's lack of effort/inspiration. Modern Mario sports games aren't bad, but they just pale compared to previous games which had way more variety and content, Now they're just "bog standard sport game with a wacky gimmick to sell, and a load of characters as a substitute for actual variety."
