If you've ever watched his "speed and articulation video" right through you'll se that this guy is master and blows most modern guitar players away. That 1-hour video was also done in one take with no editing ..try that kids!

I saw him at the Ramona main stage in the boonies of San Diego Caught him before going in at took a picture with him. He's short I've always been a fan of his work, heavily underrated and among the top virtuosos! Homie listen to his sound !! Exactly like the record

@@alessandro9740 it means guitar3 i think. Hence G3. Its satch and whatever sick guitar legend that is able to tour for it. They play 3 sets of their own music and at the end have a big jam together. Its pretty awesome. I got to see the G3 w paul gilbert(who hasnt played the USA in years at that time) petrucci and satriani. It was a bad ass show.

In his early years he was already producing amazing stuff, but was never a very frontman guitar persona and never realy made a heavy image merchandising. Thats why he's never too much heard about it. But, that being said, they should *ABSOLUTELY* invite him to the G3. He would bring a lot to the game and would be a amazing guest

I'd never heard of Vinnie Moore, but arrived here from interesting YT guitar content. I initially was reminded of Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson, but this is a far more interesting song. But what makes it for me is the live performance, skills on display, but most of all, Vinnie and his band enjoying it.

Vinnie is relatively unstoppable. His technique is so foreign but awe inspiring. Mesmerizing how he plays in such a way as if he is trying to get the band "lost" but they keep right up and blow your mind with the strangest of changes and runs. Epic

I am wondering the same question as to why is't he part of the G3. Probably for the same reason why Friedman, Loomis etc. are not on it either. To me, if you had the talent to come up with many instrumental albums, you should be taken into consideration! Since Satriani came up with the G3 concept, I guess he gets to decide who he wants with him on stage, so he brings his friends!

@@kitkat_Haokip You're right about Friedman, but my point was that there are so many talented guitar players out there, there is no real reason as to why the same players are chosen more than once. HOw about Vinnie Moore, Andy James, Angel Vivaldi. I had the chance to see Tony MacAlpine live 6 months ago and I just wondered why hasn't he been part of something as big as the ''G''serie. John Petrucci would also be a good pick. If you goal is to jam and have fun...you can pick who ever you want, after all, you are the boss. However, if your goal is to put a show where you display a large variety of playing styles, you cannot overlook these names I mentionned.

He is and always was very precise even going back to his frist album with a band called Vicious Rumers.. It actually sounds better than this. My mix wasn't good as it could have been. Incorrect sample rate was speeding things up way ahead of the video..I tried to slow it down and convert sample rate but it kinda distorts things and garbles it up and that's what you are hearing here.. I'm trying to figure this out so I can re-mix and do a much better job... Listen to my other videos like John 5 and that's how clear I would like to get Vinnie to sound..
