I like that the cast of characters is a mixture of stand-ins for the Zelda CD-i characters (the jovial king with a deep voice, the king's messenger who announces the villain's return, the shopkeeper who loves Rubies, the barely-intelligible drunk guy, the cracked-out fairy, the pipe-smoking man who says "Aye") and original characters who really have a lot of charm! (the Bullwinkle blacksmith, Denny the vampire, FINE DINING, Skelvis, tubular volcano dude, and -Crude- Oil Drinker Zazie)

Nodelki is an anagram of the duke Onkled from the old games, and he get the jewel shards by scrubbing all of the floors in Not Hyrule. and the game kicks off with him releasing Not Ganon from the book Link/Zelda imprisoned him in. Dear Lord.

@@aluigiFromKart It’s wonderful! I work remote, I talk with the folks there every week and they give me art requests of things to draw for their presentations or projects. Sometimes I’ll be drawing oyster DNA methylation, sometimes I’ll be drawing the holobiont of a coral polyp! There’s also a website where I manually categorize corals in an underwater photograph based on where 40 of these computer-genned points land. It’s crazy fun and I’m mad lucky to be able to combine my art skills with my passions for crazy cool marine biology!

My boy, taking the Zelda CD-i formula and refining it to perfection is what ALL true warriors strive for... Great! I'll grab my devkit! As for "shitting oneself for entertainment", IIRC Punk Duck once "did vlog shit" for Trelli as a bit during Hi-Rez Expo. He set up a camera to only capture him above the waistline, and captured essentially 54 minutes of grimacing on the toilet (I don't know if Trelli still has the footage). Pretty nuts, I know, and if you seek to hear the story told by Ed himself, he tells it near the end of the Please Stop Talking episode "Stop Staring". Skip to the Patreon Questions segment if you only want that story, but honestly that whole episode is a banger if you have an hour and 20 minutes to spare.

10:30, I also didn't pick up that this was VInny, so when I first saw the credits I did a double take. What's funny is, first time I rewatched I immediately noticed the frog. No offense to Vinny, but I think the reason most people don't notice it first isn't because he's doing a very different voice, but rather the voice sort of just "blends in" to the other voices in the world, like maybe you aren't thinking about it.
