My dearest Melpert, It is with no small measure of incredulity that I write to address your recent escapades, or rather, your hapless bumbling, set amidst the confines of a subway train. It has reached my ears that you encountered a spectral adversary-a white ghostly woman who, rather graciously, telegraphs her intentions by adhering to a singularly simple rule: she moves and attacks only when unseen. A child of middling intellect could deduce her intentions with ease, yet you, Melpert, fumbled through this encounter as though the mechanics of walking and observing were as alien to you as the ghost herself. The solution, in its simplicity, is almost an insult to the term "puzzle." Walk past her when the lights are on, for goodness’ sake! The lights, in their intermittent flashing, practically screamed the solution into the void, and yet you managed to flounder about in a manner so bafflingly incompetent that it defies all logic. And yet, through some cosmic accident or divine pity, you stumbled to success, never once grasping the basic principle that was, quite literally, illuminating your path. It is an achievement, in a sense, to fail so spectacularly while still advancing. One might almost admire the sheer audacity of your ineptitude were it not so painfully evident that this victory was undeserved, a cruel joke at the expense of reason and effort. Have you no shame, Melpert, in achieving victory without understanding its means? Is there no part of you that laments the missed opportunity to truly engage with the challenge? Or are you content to bumble through life, mistaking luck for aptitude, and mediocrity for mastery? Reflect on this, Melpert. The ghost may have been defeated, but your failures haunt me still. Yours in exasperation, Chet Membaire

The concept for this one is much more confusing. Sometimes the answer is to find something, sometimes the answer is to turn your head away for two seconds, other times the answer is to literally just proceed. But the problem with that is that sometimes you can't tell which one you're expected to do. It's a shame because the scares in this one are much better and weirder than in Exit 8, but there's really not much to the gameplay.
@SwizzleDrizzl7 ай бұрын
Well the point is that it's a puzzle game first, and a spot the difference game second. That's why the game tells you when there's a spot the difference minigame. However it would be nice if it gave you a smidgen of tutorial, because people who've played Exit 8 are expecting something different.

You can almost always tell what you're expected to do. Main goal is survive so when the giant hand appears, just don't sit in front of the opening doors and keep a distance until it's gone. Same with quick thinking events like the water rising or the guy suddenly chasing after you. Second, there are actual instructions on most of them and the ones that don't have any instructions are VERY clear in how they function thanks to readable patterns (white lady that moves when the lights go out, not touching the spazzing out people when they appear because they're obviously going to cause problems, sitting down on the only empty spot for the mannequins etc). I think it's just you.
