Around 43:00 or so, I was thinking "huh, this looks a lot like VVVVVV" due to the spikes, enemy sprites, and room names at the bottom of the screen. I looked up Monty's Christmas Special, and Terry Cavanagh (VVVVVV creator) has a video uploaded in 2007 of a playthrough, neat. Must have inspired him somewhat

Man I hope Vinny tries out Jazz 2 someday, even better music, way better gameplay and it's also highly modable. Also the community for this series still somehow lives and makes maps. I remember Joel making news on the website when he played Jazz 2/unfinished 3 demo even. Very fun series, also very epic of Epic to completely scrap its existence!

Duke 3D is running off some old version of EDuke32. It's not the DOS version, and the music seems to be messed up. The christmas midis are supposed to have sampled "gunshot" instruments and other funny effects.

I actually like Duke Nuclear Winter as a freebie that came with the Megaton Edition, but I think if I paid money for it as an expansion back in the day I wouldn't feel the same. It's kinda charming and it doesn't have anything as headache-inducing as the Smithsonian level from the D.C. expansion. Life's a Beach is the actually-good one though.

Not to be OneGuy, but I think there is something wrong with your microphone audio. Your voice keeps cutting out when you get quieter, like at the end of some sentences, and the volume overall is noticably lower when compared to VoDs from even just three weeks ago. The overall quality seems to be lower too.
