I know no one is going to see this, so why not write it anyways! Thank you Vinny, for being with me since 2019. I was recommended your Choicer Voice videos back in 2019 October, and have been a fan since. Your 2019 Mario holiday streams were so comfy, I never could watch you live though, forever a Full Sauce viewer, as I am from India. I don't celebrate Christmas, but during this time of the year, your simple Mario streams bring much comfort to me, especially now, when I am back 10 days earlier in college to prepare for future exams and I am basically alone and confused and don't know what to do. With your stream in background, I was able to calm my mind and look up some things, I don't know how things will go... I had my parents with me earlier but now they are back home and while I can surely go... I need to learn to handle myself. Thanks for being you Vin, and thank you Johnny too! For these streams! This is so nice. The Super Mario World mods like this legit have made some of my favorite recent holiday memories like the ridiculous one Vinny and Joel played. Titan A.E. was a Don Bluth film, and I agree that it is good. Sadly, it has still never gotten a Blu Ray/HD release and is still stuck on DVD/standard def... :( (and unfortunately Bluth's films haven't gotten particularly good treatment on their Blu Ray transfers in general. They def look better than the DVDs but still not great, which is a shame because Bluth and his films deserve so much better). The Road to El Dorado was DreamWorks.

With the ROM hacks here and Super Mario X having a 3DS/Wii U port thanks to TheXTech, it's been a good year for Mario fan hacks... granted the update to make everything run smoother (especially on 3DS) has yet to be finalized until early 2025 at best.

I'd wait until after 1.3.7 comes out fully though, because it can't run at native resolution on 3DS (or Wii) at the moment, and the other settings only result in screen crunch so far, or near unreadable text normally.

The only thing that could make me interested in the Switch 2 is a Mario Maker 3 with functioning online. I have put so much time into MM/MM2...hundreds of hours, but I had to stop because the glitchy, laggy online and completely hacked leaderboards ruined the fun of it. But Nintendo will never ever fix their fuck awful online infrastructure. Makes me so sad.

Vinny being so overwhelmingly against the new Turok is honestly annoying. Not because it's wrong for him to say that or because I like the series (never played it), but because he's so against it... and I don't even know why. Surely it's not just because it's third-person, right? That's all I heard him say about it. For some reason it being third-person means it'll contain literally every bad thing from every videogame ever; that's pretty much what Vin was saying. Since when did third-person become so reviled? Despite not playing the series, I can clearly tell that it's different, but not every game needs to be a boomer-shooter. Damn this lack of pessimism I have!
