I also love Torcida, they have a lot of different flavors, my favorites are jalapeño and onion! So crazy I didn’t think of our snacks as overly sweet. Especially compared to America but I guess you’re right! Also, bis is 100x better in milk chocolate as opposed to the white chocolate. Maybe next time try more savory Brazilian snacks! There’s some good and different chips out there. At least there used to be from what I remember. ❤

Hi!! So happy you tried our snacks from Brazil, but there's some things you should know! The "Balas de Coco" were huge in Brazil especially in the late 90's and early 2000's birthday parties, they are still consumed a lot here, but they used to be handmade by the family of the birthday person, and it's delicious! it's supposed to be soft and not *that* sweet. "Tortuguitas" are aimed most towards children, so you were right, it's very nostalgic as it has a "ritual" which you eat the little parts and then go for the body hahah! The chocolate here is told not to be that good, but I would recommend "Garoto" chocolate and a "Bis" that is not soft as in the video and in the regular flavor: milk chocolate. Also "Trento" is very good and feel like you'd like it, since it's not very sweet and has a lot of variety in flavor. You could try some savory snacks as well! thank you for the video 🤍

You should try gauva paste (goiabada cascão) with cheese (queijo branco). Here we call Romeu e Julieta. Very traditional. Also, bananada without sugar is much better.

As a brazilian I really need to say that I loved this video, your reaction to "torcida" was amazing. And you're absolutely right "sonho de valsa" really means "waltz dream", and you should try "matte leão" in the lemon flavour hahaha. I'm not so crazy about sweets). i think most of the industrialized candy are so sweet because they're made for kids (including the kids that already grew up lol), and kids love sweetness. but brazilian desserts are so much better than the candy ones for me!

Tang is American! It was popular in the 80s (yes I'm that old) and the TV ads featured astronauts (I guess they drink Tang in space?) However it's hard to find here now.
