Vintage 1987 Sanyo Clock Radio

Just an ordinary clock radio that does what it does. Nothing to write home about really, except that it belonged to my late Grandparents, and that it's also from 1987, ergo vintage.

I used to have one just like it. But my house flooded in 2016 and I lost it. Good radio tho

Sorry to hear that. These were definitely decent radios, better than today's stuff!

Beautiful green LED display. Still looks nice and bright, and of course the radio still works just as well as it ever did. I wonder if the wonky numbers with the alarm are simply dirty contacts on the alarm set button that has to be held down. I have seen that before, it's quite possible that's all it is.

Yep, I just got a couple more clocks in last month, one is a green display alarm clock radio, the other is a red display alarm clock only. The red one has a loose button I gotta fix. I'd like to someday acquire a VFD clock. Sounds plausible, but I don't use that function on this one that I'm not too concerned about it.
