Most of what your looking at in this video are not boomboxes. THEY ARE FRIGGIN JAM BOXES ! Tall and flat NO boom, for boom you need deep and square. When you start seeing the CD player on top, those are boomboxes. STOP CALLING JAM BOXES BOOMBOXES

There was one I wanted so bad when I was about 14 years old. I used to stare at it at the local Zayre store. It was $150 which was so far away from anything I could afford. DUal cassette. I remember the 2nd cassette slid in like a car stereo.

i bought a brand new conion c-100f back in '84 for $250 off a wholesale box truck parked on the side of a highway in tampa florida. you can walk inside the truck and the guy had a huge selection of boomboxes on display to choose from.

I saw just the edge of my old JVC RCM70 with blue tape on it, that was a great box, not the biggest, but very powerful with super clear sound, it was a monster for it's size.

I am 50 and had a Radio Shack Realistic SCR-8 boombox. Still wish I had it. Been making some DIY ammo can speaker boxes with Class D amplifiers (100 + 100w RMS). Really enjoy portable and loud music. Thanks for the video

Шарп на1.23 моя любимая игрушка! Работал с Батей подсобником на стройке и он мне в 1985 в коммесионнке купил такой аппарат. Не розовенький, а здоровенный ШАРП .И у меня была возможность покупать кассеты ТДК , 9 рублей, Поцану в восмидесятых??? А потом было осмысление! Я накосячил! И Батя сдал мою любимую игрушку,ШАРП, в ту же коммисионку. В наказание! .... Всем кто сосранил такие Аппараты, Блага вам.

Hermosos aparatos cuánta diversión Mi primera grabadora fue una Panasonic preciosa con un excelente sonido muy durable Posteriormente compré una Sanyo modelo 3500 a uno de mis hermanos le gustó mucho y le regale una la mía me la robaron guardo todos mis cassettes y están muy bien cuidados un amigo me va a conseguir una espero que funcione Hasta pronto que buen recuerdo

Thrift shops, estate sales, flea markets, the little old lady who lost her son in the gulf war? They exist and some people will give them away while others have a collectors premium extorted price tag on them for no other reason that pure greed. Be aware that 99% of the time you will need to do a capacitor change out on one before actually using it.

And these systems are 100% believable in performance. And not like today's USB players. For my Magic shows I use this & can control myself anywhere. There are some limitations, but that's O.k. All Two-in-one in this video are wonderful.*

Don't see one of the best Panasonic's boom box. Brown, tan , chromed trim. 5 band equalizer, speakers separated, with speaker cable hook ups. One of the best sounds I've ever heard. And I have seen and heard a few.

In 1989 I was 6 years old and had a STEREO-RADIO CASSETTE RECORDER of ESPACE (not PANASONIC, SONY, SANYO, PHILIPS or other electronics marks)...it was black, with two loudspeakers, an external microphone for recording, two cursors on the high-left for manipulating VOLUME and TONE, a switch for changing CASSETTE-RADIO-AUX, a red led which light when radio transmitting in stereophonia and 4 batteries retrocontainer.

I was a teenager during the heydey of the boombox---almost every teen had one. The amplifiers were horribly inefficient--they could suck down 8 alkaline D cells in hours, not days. They sure were fun, though. It was great seeing all of the different varieties here
