Vintage Air AC 79 Bronco | Evaporator & AC Routing

This is a how to video for installing the Vintage Air AC Evaporator and AC lines in a 1979 Ford Bronco with the 400cubic inch V8. This applies to all 70's dent side Fords 351m and 400 including the 78 Bronco and all 1973 - 1979 F Series trucks. I walk through each step for installing the Vintage Air Firewall cover, AC Lines and Evaporator on a factory AC bronco.

I purchased my 79 bronco which the guy told me was equipped with AC. After the truck was delivered the AC compressor was not even present. My question is I noticed your bronco was also factory equipped with AC. Why did you decided to install this unit? What is the advantage? It’s it because this uses the R-134?

The factory evaporator and blower wasn't functioning when I bought mine. The guy I bought the Bronco from recommended vintage air because it's compact, fits behind the dash and is more powerful than the factory AC and blower. I haven't had a chance to use the AC portion yet but having the heat and defrost has been clutch this winter.

Thanks for getting back to me. My blower works but I haven’t had the time to see what else is missing. Hope to see more progress on the 79. Not many haters of that year.
