I had Ricky ..Skipper..Scooter and Francie. Of course Barbie ..Ken and Midge ....loved playing with them... way back in the 60s

Skipper, Skooter and Ricky ALL share the EXACT same body. The only thing different are the heads. Therefore they are interchangeable. I own all three dolls and this info has also been confirmed elsewhere. There were six outfits made for Ricky and they would fit Skipper and Skooter as well. Some shirts made for Skipper look very nice on Ricky, especially the red/white striped t-shirt and the green plaid shirt with green buttons.

I' ve always had one since I was little. He reminds me of Opie on the Andy Griffith Show! HIs out fits are crazy expensive.

Mattel reused the molds from Ricky for Big Jim.

Oh really! It's interesting to hear all of the ways they raised their molds. There are lots of crossovers between Barbie and 12" GI Joe too.

I also have a Ricky doll I picked him up at the marketplace sadly enough the back of his head was a little damage because he was used 😔

I never heard of Ricky, but he is really cute:). I just LOVE his baby blue eyes and his freckles:). I just think that they should have given Ricky hair like material instead of mounted plastic hair, but other than that he is adorable:). I even like his sandals and his striped jacket with his blue shorts:). Ricky is a really cool find:).
