You did a phenomenal job of replicating the look of a vintage TnT while creating something totally new and exciting!! Bravo! Immediate subscribe. I was hoping to reroot an old Mod head I found and am so glad there's a clear and concise resource like this. A couple of questions: 1. Do you not use Fabri-Tac or similar glue inside the head to seal the hairs in place? Most doll reroots I see do this, but I wasn't sure if you were supposed to use it on vintage Barbies or not. 2. What brand of paint did you use to retouch the lips? When I've done this, it causes a white line to form around the paint and a stain to the face. 😞 Thank you!

Hi! Thank you so much for subscribing! It means a lot to me. Yes, I use fabri-tac in the inside. I have a video to show my process. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ip2sg5mIocZ6hrs I used apple barrel brand Fruit punch color and Katsilk L7 color mixed together. I use acrylic paints for the lips. Always make sure the lips are cleaned prior to painting. I think if you don't mix paint well enough or if a marker was used at any point in the dolls life it could cause a ring to surface around lips. It can be corrected but it is a heck of a process!

You do such great job with these rebootings. They all lokk beautiful. One question i have is that you don't seem to add glue inside the heads, so how do you secure the hair from coming right off when brushing the hair?

Hi Niki! Thank you so such kind words.. I actually do add glue inside.. just a pinch tho. I have a video created on my channel that shows the process I use. Although glue isn't totally necessary on collector dolls, I do add it for absolute peace of mind. It helps me sleep at night! If you have a few minutes, go check the video out :)
