Vintage Base Ball Association - National Silver Ball - Genesee Country Village Museum - Mumford, NY

This week’s adventure brings us back to last summer. I return to the Genesee Country Village Museum to see some fine 19th Century Baseball. I got word that two teams from Vintage Base Ball Association were playing. These teams come together to play like they did years ago. I get a quick look at the Cincinnati Red Stockings face off against the Akron Black Stockings. Watching these guys play with all the old rules and no gloves or mitt was pretty amazing to see. I also have a look around the village to check out a few things I missed last time I visited. It was a very unique visit you’ll want to check out! Do Come Along!!!

Took me a few minutes to stop laughing at your introduction "And this behind me is a really, really, big cow!" 😂 You always had a GREAT delivery/facial expressions making the most silly/ridiculous comments into the funnest and rememberable comedy routines. My wife still laughs at your "Chicken" (BONK as it hits the floor) and "Here is a close up of Canada" at Epcot while filming family home videos.

Yeah, I'm not sure at all about trying to catch a ball without a glove. Especially a nice line drive! 😲
