This has turned out SO perfect . The layout , colour, and fittings is just the best . But the greatest thing about all of this is that crocheted rug that lady did , what an absolute legend . Those outside rails would look so good painted white . Overall you 2 incredible people did an amazing job , congrats .

A brilliant job guys. Love the design aesthetics. My only suggestion from my 60 + years of caravan life is a pressurising fan strong enough to ensure you don't get dust ingress because a moving van creates a partial vacuum that sucks in dust on Australian dirt roads.

Hey guys, just watched your build. With your current pantry that you wanted bi-fold you can put a zero protrusion hinge on your door, it will push the door across in front of the doors so you have full access. It can be swapped with current hinge .

Wow, wow. WOW! So amazing. I'm a 78 year old Pacific Northwesterner (US) and my husband did a modified rebuild on an old camping trailer about 10 years ago. It was a huge job and he never got to the outside, but some of our relatives enjoy using it as a guest house when they visit us. It has turquoise interior. Love your build, and love your attitude!!! Couple of comments - 1. We've used a household window reverse cycle aircon fitted under the seat for years. Cheap, powerful, and the weight is down low on the floor chassis. It needs a drip tray under it tho, and an external vent door. 2. Don't try to fill all your storage space - you just don't need to. 3. Running wiring thru the framework is a bad idea cos it weakens the van's structure. And who cares if you see conduit inside cabinets. 4. Cassette toilets are better/cleaner than compost toilets imho.

I'm 20+ minutes in and I am loving the van tour! My wife is a chronic crocheter too and I am impressed by the blanklet / bed roll that you showed off on the tour, bought a tear to my eye! Love your videos and I'm so glad that you did the bathroom! There may have been some days of anxiety etc associated with it but the return of the freedom of travel can not be understated!

Perhaps some aluminiun checker plate around 450mm high along the bottom of the sides may hide some dents and protect further. Vinyl is sometimes used on the front as stone protection. Just a thought.

I have watched this with much interest and laughed along with you guys. You'll need positive latches for all cupboard doors. I personally made my bed high enough so the porta potty slides in and out from under the bed. It's on drawer slides. I also have a privacy curtain for bedroom. Great job guys. ✅💯

The van looks great. When watching walk throughs I always wonder the process before driving, ie what do you have to take off shelves, folding table etc. Or even using the bathroom, what has to come out to not get wet.

You both did an incredible job on the camper! WOW!!!! Considering you are not professional mechanics or builders your videos from start to finish should be sold as a motivational guide to people who lack confidence in themselves and for ones who are afraid to attempt becoming do-it-yourselfers! 😅 I am a retired marine mechanic and am floored by the thought and planning you both put into this thing and the detail! I was also floored by the job you did on the Land Cruiser! Beautiful work! I would suggest only one thing and maybe you have already thought of this…..under the window along the front where the trailer hitch is located I would suggest installing an aluminium diamond plate sheet all the way across the front so when you go off-road it will protect the metal from gravel and road debris. You definitely captured the 70’s vibe and I know myrtle is proud! 😜

The green is perfection!! You both did a wonderful job. Maybe an adhesive pull out shelf/drawer for the pantry cupboard so you can access the back . Got ours from amazon and can be expandable for a custom fit. Just a thought… as I did not know they existed and have been a game changer for us! Happy Travels 😊
