I agree it is a nice colour. Boots will get scrapes when you wear them so a couple of wee ones on a good priced pair of used boots isn't an issue.

Nice find! They really do look great on you!!! A few years ago I bought a like new pair of Dan Post boots in the shaft cognac color you show here, snip toe, at the thrift store for $20, or maybe $25....possibly had been worn one time. The only issue I have with the brand is that their sizing is inconsistent. I’m usually a 7.5 - the thrift store boots fit me very big. Other Dan Post boots I’ve bought in the same size are way too tight. So I won’t buy them online anymore. I have no issue with second hand, lightly worn boots. Anything can be cleaned. Probably 75% of my boots are second hand. Great deals to be found online! So happy September is here and it’s cooling off out there....boot weather is back!
@JeremiahCraig4 жыл бұрын
It's always a risk buying online for sure and Dan Post used to have factories all over so I could see that being an issue. It's perfect boot weather now though! You're right!!

Hi Jeremiah, can you do a review on the Dan Post Renegade snip toe boots? I got some that fit great but I am not too sure what type of leather they are made of but I think it is cow. Also, the outer leather is kind of rough, kind of like a suede but exactly so I am not sure how to maintain these awesome boots. You think it would be possible to do a review on these boots or provide answers to my uncertainties? Thanks for your advice in the past and great reviews on boots, fashion, and all other content. Very informative and entertaining!

Do you prefer a sloped heel? Are they more difficult to walk in or the same as a regular heel? Also have you considered a video on advantages and disadvantages of tall Vs short boots? And when it's appropriate to wear boots over the trouser for men I'm getting a pair of cowboy-esk boots made and only have experience with ridding boot which are generally more form fitting.

Good morning bro 🙂, awesome video as usual hey i have a question I’m hoping you can help me with. I’m really digging those black bison cowboy boots by Abilene. But unfortunately the only boot place in my area doesn’t carry Abilenes for some reason smh. Which sucks because now i cant go and try them on, so I’m hoping you you can help me out. I wear size 11 in men’s sneakers and tennis shoes. Which size do you think I would wear in Abilene’s? Or which would you try first if you were me? I know you’re size 12 B and you went with a 10 1/2 D. Do you think i should maybe get a 10?
@JeremiahCraig4 жыл бұрын
That's tough to say because it depends on the width of your foot. You could wear a size 11 and if your foot is narrow you might need a 10D but if your foot is wide you might need a 11EE or 12D. I'd say go to your boot place and try on everything then take the size you most happy with across several brands and try that first
@brodyberry62534 жыл бұрын
Jeremiah Craig : Ahh i see well ok that sounds like a good plan. I’m gonna tryin get down to the boot store and start trying on! (Btw the place is called Locust Grove Country Shop, in Apollo PA) i don’t really think it’s very impressive but they do get a lot of good reviews but anyway. I plan on going again and hopefully get this sizing issue solved once and far all.thanks for the help buddy i appreciate it.

I'm a typical broke college student and I wanna save up for Dan Post lizars boots, should I get the Dan Post or pony up almost $400 for Tecovas?
@JeremiahCraig4 жыл бұрын
Both are made very similarly in Leon Mexico. The Dan Post will probably have a removable insole maybe the Soft Strike and the Tecovas has a non removable leather/foam insole. Both will be leather lined but the Tecovas will have a hung lining which covers the thick leather seam in the shaft. Other than that the differences will be few and far between. Dan post will also have more color options. Hope this helps

In the Usa there are a lot of D width boots and few in the E ,EE or EEE. widths . Is the difference in sizing in the US . I wear a 9 1/2 EEE . What would be a alternate size be ? If i went to a 10 what width would i get ?
@JeremiahCraig4 жыл бұрын
It depends on the brand. If you're in a Boulet 9.5 EEE it's a little different since their regular E width is similar to a D width most of the time. If youre a true 9.5 EEE I would not recommend trying to find a D width. You'd be better off searching for 10.5 or 11 EE if you really wanted to try a different width
