I not only remember the white shoe polish with the sponge applicator, I’ve used it on my two oldest babies white shoes. I also used it on my nurse shoes. Love your channel. I love dolls, especially older ones.

Yes! My granny had one too, she uses it on her shoes for work, they had to wear white shoes with her uniform at the college cafeteria! 💕❤️💕 Liz

I know about the liquid white polish in a bottle with a sponge applicator. I polished my sneakers with it many times.

The shoe whitener was called Sani-White. I used it for my kid's baby shoes. It was in a blue box with a child on the front. I haven't seen it in quite a while, but I'll bet Amazon would have it. I loved your dolls. I have that baby boy doll you have but mine is dressed as a girl. I just love her!

Tammy, thank you so much! Fall is my favorite too! I can’t wait to see your videos with a fall flair to them! I’m going to try a garden video like yours with the dolls in their summer dresses before the garden goes ka-poot! The dolls look so nice in the sunshine!

2:11 I love your doll's dress. in this scene. She overall is just so gorgeous and reminds me so much of an American Girl Doll. I don't know why but she gives off so many American Girl vibes. So cute! :D

I know what you are talking about with the white shoe polish. I used to wash and clean my school shoes and then apply a coat of that polish to them and dry them in the sun. Its like chalk paint. Add some plaster of paris to white paint and hey presto!!
@allthingsfairy4 жыл бұрын
Susanna I’m glad you know what I was talking about and that I wasn’t imagining it! Back in the day, my mom didn’t want to keep buying brand new shoes, we had to keep our clean! Good idea on the plaster of Paris, thank you!!!

Shoe white was a thing... I remember it... it still exists but usually in Dollar General and less expensive stores.

Can you tell me what the little bisque doll with the bow is? They are seen at the beginning of the video...There were more than one I believe...I collect small bisque dolls... Thanks so much

Oooh! I love your collection! That Patti play pal type is probably the prettiest I've seen besides the real deal, most of the generic ppl dolls looked very creepy and odd tbh lol. Also I'd be weary of those giraffe and deer toys, people were cutting them open and finding mold! They still make them, so yours may not be vintage but the company started in 61 and they have that vintage look. They are cute though just be careful with them around your dolls. Love that bob Ross figure x)

Thank you! This is a small portion of my entire collection, I keep saying I will do a video for them all, but it’s slow going! Thank you for the tip about the mold, I think I will hold it up to the light since they are white, and maybe I can see if there is anything inside! They probably are reproduction, but they have that 50’s - 60’s look, don’t they? Thank you for your kind words!

Blake Senters, I love rare, makes it even more important to rescue them! I originally just thought her eyes were more charming than the painted eyes, which is why I chose her. Thank you for the information! Please visit again, I love learning new things from other doll collector’s and enthusiasts! 😊

Growing up we had a sawdust furnace in the basement to heat the whole house. Loads of sawdust would be dumbed and we shoveled it down the shute into the bin. We shoveled it into the burner to heat the house. The whole house always smelled like fresh chopped wood. It was a very hot, drying heat. That's just an F Y I😇

Claudia, I would loooove that smell! I love hearing about people’s childhoods, you just never know what amazing and interesting lives people have had!
