This music makes me feel normal, happy, and safe. A time when there were only two genders attracted to each other, a time when every day a new invention or product was being announced, and a time when doors were never locked and the windows left open.

I don't think this era is considered the 'industrial revolution'. Industrialized, certainly, but hardly the revolution.

This is way past the industrial revolution, 2-3 centuries past. This music is from the era of the Great Depression, Gulags, and the rise of Hitler, plenty of misery to go around. The music probably helped bear the pain, though.
